Will you please give me the real deal about this UNITY business.

No fancy language, just keep it clean.

    Slow, slow and slow.
But working which makes me happy!

I'm trusting you to find how we can continue playing on our smart Phones. Ok?

Opera is still better than Chrome for me even though I have the latest versions. Farm keeps going quite normally even though you have many other active tabs but in Chrome it freezes...

To Quote Habalala.... whenever you present trash to your clients you may expect an empty cash register by the end of the day.
I will not be here much after Harvest Festival as a result.

I really was unable to sign in much during the time we were forced to use it and really do not have an opinion.
    Does it even matter?
Please correct me if I am wrong:

In the very near future we will only have two choices:
    (1) Do not play farmerama at all
    (2) Use this UNITY

IF someone choses to continue to play this game then that individual must adapt to UNITY however long it may take.

Please tell me yes or no if you think the following is reasonable. Please realize that I have listened to far more negative comments about UNITY than positive. Here goes!

I now choose to give UNITY a chance by sincerely continuing to play this game.
I will plan on freely allowing a few days to get accustomed to UNITY while if necessary making slight changes in how I play.

Knowing myself, if this game becomes taxing on the brain and multiple inconveniences then I know that signing into the game will decrease in frequency. If that happens then I will remain open for additional changes but I know too too well that I will be exiting this game.

BeePs most likely have their backs against the wall and have decided to try and implement a change. Surely they have estimated the costs of doing so in many ways.

I want to remain open to change in this game and if this game cannot hold my attention then ....... cya

I choose to give them a chance.

My intent is to catch up my farms and begin to switch to UNITY permanently using the baby farms first. I will continue FLASH on this farm until all baby farms enter UNITY.

If BeePs cannot hold the baby then they surely cannot hold this farm. Real simple for Beeps: Do it or loose all of my attention.

And I will give them a chance and recommend that all do.

How to deal with slow loading... don't actually close your farm, just minimize and put computer on 'sleep'
Positives: The market setup is new and works. I can sort crops into veges although at this stage I don't know why I would want to. The setting price method is new but I can get used to that... I think I will get to like the History and who brought my product.... I could do-a-deal on IGMs!
The big negative is loading all those ep pages so for now I will do them on flash.
But the rest I will do on Unity....
    ... more later...

I can sign in using Unity, but the loading takes too long no matter which browser you used by the way I am playing this game on mobile phone using android software at the moment using puffin browser with flash it very fast

Any clicking is more responsive and more precise that Unity using flash, I have empathy to all farmers who have several farms, plus all those who have farms via Big Fish too

Currently there are too many bugs and incorrectly responsive with clicking using Unity

I manually click my 320 Cloud Rows daily, it is hardly responsive to my liking it taking so much longer doing all the things I do using flash I doubt it will ever be as good as flash perhaps using a decent powered laptop

I check and manage my farm on my phone alot it is so handy even-handed I am out or traveling still about to do events and manage the markets and gifts etc

using a laptop or high powered pc you can log into several farms using different browsers you simply toggle between them stay sign in those farms if they become non responsive you will have to hit refresh function that will mean slow reloads

At the moment I just making the most of enjoyment while under flash, I have a serious rethink if it is worthy to get laptop just to play farmerama only from my home, When when we do events we cannot let our farms be idle while our buffs are active not let waste of benefits using buffs this is my biggest concern

I have been hoarding loads of powerfeeds, suzy super grow and super grow they are in excess of over 10K each mostly completing quests and events

Ideally it would help with lessing clicking and scrolling even running under Unity just pray and hope we are able to play and enjoy playing farmerama when you not heard from me you know I need a laptop we shall wait and see

The good that Unity does have some positive features but it would make sense to make features far more practical so can actually enjoy playing this game to our liking :music::music:

I don't think the slow loading is Unity's fault because it takes only like 30 seconds to load on my slowest computer, an IBM Thinkcentre from 2006

When you load the same page on both unity and flash, especially ep giver pages, it is about 90 seconds on unity and ten seconds on flash, with the same computer same everything else.....

  11. Extract from the up to date official announcements
Everyone who can´t access the Unity/WebGL client: please don´t worry too much. As stated, we started working on an alternative solution already. We will keep you posted!

So, somehow there will be an alternative or roundabout option to Unity. Let's see.
Currently, I keep working with flash.
I have tried Unity from time to time, but the waiting times are not enjoyable; up to extremely frustrating.
If this cannot be remedied, then many of us will be led to option no (1) of farmer_broke.

thanks for pointing it out without doubt Unity will never be as fast as flash with the loading of cloud rows, giver pages such as The Park,The lighthouse etc even manual farming without or with harvester feature

When you are using flash anything you click gets highlighted to ensure you click the right thing using Unity is not very reassuring as flash plus it much slower with everything using Unity

yes xristos you are right to point out they are looking for alternative to flash

I am surprised how fast flash is using my phone I doubt toggling between playing fields will be just as fast under unity that will be a big if

I really do hope there will be alternative using flash we just have to cross our fingers and toes :music:

I can't load Unity on my old computer and with my slow internet. I can sort of manage the standalone client, but it's very slow. Don't know if I'll carry on playing next year because it takes too long.

The truth is that I am finding this 48 hour trial BeePs is running to be a terrible experience. Surely you are experiencing many issues.
    I will continue and participate.
The game is very slow. To name couple:
I am continuously unable to identify which trees have been harvested and which have not.
The manure counter lags behind the actual manure total.
NO, I have no intention of participating in another one of these experiences. I will see this one through.

Trees are not showing that they are ready to be harvested.
It's difficult to see when crops are ready.
I wish this test had been done during the week instead and not on a weekend.

Have you turned animations on? It is the only way I can see that. It also makes everything else move, swirl and turn.

Turning animation on does work - the game looks almost like it did in Flash. Unless you have a field full of stables, the movement isn't annoying/distracting/whatever you want to call it

It is annoying in Pet playfield and other full giver item fields with all birds and clouds etc flying around. They are pretty, if you look them, when they are standing alone. But stuffed next to each other in every possible space... :wuerg:

xDxD I can just imagine all those creatures flying at you at once. Guess that's why I always harvest those areas with machinery - nothing tries to buzz bomb you.

The farms has stalls out and trees in the outlying areas.
    Animations were off.
    I came here.
    Read
(Trees appeared not to be ready to harvest.)

    Switched animations on.
Trees now appeared ready to harvest <-------------

    Harvested a few by hand

Opened another browser and another farm
All but three trees on mainland showed ready to harvest
    Animations off
All topics trees appeared not ready to harvest but were ready
Switched tropics field and returned and trees appeared ready then on one field
Switched back and returned again and the field showed trees not ready
Now I will switch animations on
ALL TREES ON ALL FIELDS appeared ready to harvest

Harvested a few in tropics as usual
Switched to barn while in tropics
After exiting barn, all ready-to-harvest trees showed no sign of being ready to harvest
Switched fields and returned and trees appeared ready to harvest

    ---- edit ----

    Entered and exited barn
Trees being ready kept disappearing and then showing ready
    Barn contents would not show

o_O I'm going to keep trying.
I have a limit to what I will take and I urge you t0 keep trying until you reach yours.
Please help us to work with what we have right now.
