I didn't get time to harvest the other morning, so tried to use my Android phone. It has firefox and flash player, and although it managed to load the farm, either flash or FF wouls crash every time I tried to harvest. The graphics are just too much for my poor little phone to cope with. I did manage to get main field harvested/replanted, but after 2 hrs got the meadow harvested too, but no way it would go further.

So how about a very limited graphic or graphic free version of the farm so we can do basic tasks via our phone?

I have so wanted this for a long time because we are often away from wifi but have our phones available and then I could harvest and plant. It used to work a bit (back about 3 years ago) but as the game advanced my android couldn't handle it any more and always crashes. We are often away from wifi for a couple weeks at a time and I miss those events when I do.

It is a very good idea!
It will be very useful if Bigpoint designed a version for our phones:)

Farmerama actually use to have a app where you could harvest and look after your fields but after a while discontinued it because it was costing them too much money to keep updating it. If they brought it back i think a lot of people would enjoy it.

I believe it was only for the i-pad though, they need an Android one too.
A basic one wouldn't need much updating

Yes, it was only for the Iphone and they kept saying that they were looking into one for the Android. I thought they mentioned that both were done when they cancelled the Iphone one as it was just too much to keep up with it.

As phone operating systems advance, maybe there will be changes in the way flash player works and they can be done on the phones again. I know Android doesn't play well with flash, or at least my Android phone and it's operating system.

I use Puffin web browser, which supports Adobe Flash, on my iphone, ipod touch and ipad to access Farmerama. It is not super fast but does get the job done within a reasonable amount of time. There is a free version so you can try it out first to see how well it works in your location (I'm in the U.S.) I believe there is a version for Android, so you might want to see if it might help you.
