Where is the candy mini event?

I've looked and can't find this mini event that uses the candies (see below, taken from event FAQ). Am I missing something? There is no record of these collected candies in the event play screen, they're only found in the barn under 'other'.

• There will be a mini event requiring you to collect points coming from 3 different types of candies that will be thrown by the Monkey Queen during the parade (more info to be found below):

Bonbon

Value: 3 Candy points

Chocolate bar

Value: 6 Candy points

Lollipop

Value: 10 Candy points


Edit: I just found this in an old carnival queen event faq where there is a reward for collecting a certain amount of candy points: (There is nothing like this for the current event, why?)

After finishing decorating these floats, and completing the 3 quest sides,
you will unlock the next part of the Carnival: the mini game!

I think there has been a misunderstanding. I know how to access events but I am asking about the mini event (within the carnival event) that uses the candy. At the top of my question, I have pasted a section from this current event that mentions a mini event involving the candy (hence their value, which is worth more, etc). There is nothing in the FAQ about a mini event on how or when to use these candies, nor any reward for collecting.

The bottom part of my question is pasted from an earlier carnival FAQ where there is a table that relates to what we could win if we collected a certain amount of points from the candies.

Why is it stated in the current FAQ about a mini event to use the collected candy points? If there is no mini event for this, then what is the point of having the values of each type of candy? It may be the case that there is no 'candy points collection' mini event and this information on the current FAQ was copied and pasted by mistake from previous carnival events.

In previous carinval events, a reward for candy points was available once the float and 3 quest sides were completed. Now that there is no float decoration or side quests, does it mean there is no reward for the amount of points we have from collecting candy?

 

As stated in the FAQ, the candies are now exchanged.

* What will happen with the leftover event goods?
The leftover event goods will be exchanged to EP and CC after the end of this event:

• 1 Sweetheart Rose = 4 CC + 6 TEP;
• 1 Bon Bon = 5 EP + 1 CC + 5 TEP;
• 1 Chocolate = 6 EP + 1 CC + 6 TEP;
• 1 Lollipop = 7 EP + 1 CC + 7 TEP;
• 1 Candy basket = 29 CC + 44 TEP;
• 1 Floral Candy basket = 1461 EP + 1948 CC + 1461 TEP.

This has been the case for several of the past carnival Events. I have edited the text to make it less confusing.
