What is wrong with the mechanism for setting the price for "next generations" hamsters? I will provide 2 specific examples of what happens when I click on "Make Offer".

Rednosed ...the price calculator indicates $1591.81. When I enter $123456.00, the value changes to $2785.60.

Smoky … indicated price = $4654.45. I enter $234567.00 & guess what? The new amount in the price calculator is $8145.29.

What is going on? Thanks for your help in this matter.

    Hello swCactus1,

It is probably due to the users being able to sell higher due to the new Market Runes.

    Can I assist you further?

    Good afternoon :)

Quite some time ago, I enabled the Market Rune when there was only one level available ~ 75%. Since that time, I've never had a problem with price setting.
The only 2 causes I can think of are:
{1} there is something wrong with the game mechanism and/or
{2} NO other farmer is posting bred hamsters for sale. Given that there's an event going on that requires them, it seems unlikely that would be the case.

Thank you for your continued assistance in solving this frustrating mystery.

There are more runes available for Market prices as linked above, which will effect the price you can list an item.
The Market prices are dynamic and are based on supply and demand. Not only is there an Event requiring breeding hamsters, but at the end of the Event, the two new Hamster Farmer's Society Quests will open, which may be why supply is limited at this time.

Can I assist you with anything further?

    Good morning Shooger :)

Let me see if I correctly understood your response. Oh, before I do that, let me assure you I know about market supply & demand concepts.
If I got it right, you're saying that because there is a breeding event happening, other farmers are NOT offering 2nd, 3rd, 4th {etc} generation hamsters.

My experience with prior breeding events is that while many players DO participate & thus keep the bred hamsters, there are others, who like me, want to use an event such as this to make multimillions of CCs. Is it possible for you to look at the market I'm in {which I think is 22} and see if in fact people have put up Red*nosed & Smoky hamsters?

    Thank you, swCactus1

Although I cannot check any particular Market, I did test that it was possible to list breeding hamsters for sale. In my market for example, there are no breeding hamsters available for sale. I listed a couple of Red-nosed hamsters. One was sold before I even left the Market window, the other has sold within the next minute. Players are obviously buying them as soon as they are listed  The listing prices should have risen by now if the supply is not keeping up with demand. In my market for example, the base price for listing a Red-nosed hamster is now at 2317.08 CC which shows the price has risen as the barn value of a Red-nosed hamster is 1500 CC.

Can I assist with anything further?
