Big Fish - payment partnership no longer functional

    I have submitted a support ticket to BigFish, but I suspect that I already know what the answer will be.

    With the arrival of your purchasing bonus program which went live this morning, my farm on BigFish can no longer make in-game purchases of any kind.

    BigFish hinted in the past that they were no longer going to "support" Farmerama. At first, I thought that meant they were dropping the game, but now I am thinking this meant that they have no intention of adjusting their payment system to accommodate the changes BigPoint just made.

    So my question is this: How do I leave BigFish? Should I submit a support request to BigPoint? Or can it be done from this post in the forum?

    Shooger.sweet, thank you for answering. I knew when I asked, that it might be the case that I have to do a support ticket. I am awaiting an answer from BigFish, and based upon their answer, I will likely generate a support ticket with BigPoint and ask that my farm be moved off of BigFish - I am hoping that my farm can survive the transfer.

    Edited to add: After thinking about the state of things via BigFish and Farmerama, I have decided that I would like to have my farm transfered to BigPoint. I tried to submit a support ticket, but it's asking for information that I don't have/cannot provide. And I don't know that there's a way to thus get the request to the right people.

    If possible, Shooger.sweet, can you ask the people in charge of such things to initiate the switch? If it is not possible for you to do this, how do I reach the right people as from my farm, I don't seem to be able to do this.

    When Clicking the Support link above, use the Game Problem or General Questions in the Request menu at the top. You will then be able to send the request to Regular Support to see if they can advise you further.

    Oh dear... this is why I'm the dumbunny... I have looked everywhere for another support button, but the only one I have in sewinglady's farm is the one on the payment window - and it is only for payment issues. BigFish had all the other buttons - including any and all buttons that allow access to these forums removed from the farms hosted on their site.

    The payment center is still non-functional, and I am going to try to send a support ticket through the only way possible over there and see if I can get someone to help me send it up the food chain to the proper department.

    I guess I knew this day would come. Thanks for all your help, Shooger. You may close this thread.

    Just confirmed clicking on the link provided by shooger.sweet also works with Big Fish accounts. ;)

    zerodegrees - Thanks! I was finally able to create an SOS (wrote it in word, copied it into a blank white rectangle in Irfanview, saved it as a jpeg) and sent it to support via the payment window's support link. I think I'll give it a day or so and see what happens with that. If it doesn't work, I'll try that button. Honestly, I click it so fast, I just never noticed it before!

    Edited to add: As Shooger.Sweet has not yet closed this thread, I will let you know that my first support ticket was closed and I was directed to send another support ticket to the technical team. I used the link shown by zerodegrees photo to do this. I am hoping this will work...stay tuned for further developments in my ongoing saga of attempting to leave BigFish...
