Sticky Bahamarama

    Hi, can you please check my Bahamarama field if there is something visibly wrong? This one stands out as nothing moves properly in it. Everything is on slow motion. Even highlight doesn't follow the mouse pointer, but hangs, then jumps somewhere ........ There are issues everywhere, but this is super bad. It has been like that for several days, but before it used to be better, in line with other bugged fields.

    No rush as I'm not playing much these two weeks anyway, just randomly.

    PS: Don't tell me to try client or other browsers as I don't have time for that.

    I've checked your account and tested Bahamarama in Firefox. Everything navigates well for me without drag or delay. I do see you have some plots that are empty and some are ready to harvest.

    You may not wish to have us offer suggestions to help improve your game play, but it is up to you to decide whether to try something different with the potential of enhancing your farming time or not.

    The Game Team continues to work diligently to make things run smoother on both Unity platforms. Players are experiencing a wide array of game experiences (and issues) via different browsers or the Standalone client. We won't know what works best for you and your individual situation as your farming is affected by your computer's capability, other programs you are currently running and your internet connection, etc.

    You can try to clear your browser cache and cookies to see if that helps. Make sure your browser is the latest updated version.

    If that doesn't work, then we would recommend you try a different browser or the Standalone client. Again, that is up to you.

    You state you are not playing much so perhaps things will have improved upon your return. We hope so.

    Thanks for checking. It worked better first time I logged in after you, but the "sluggish" moved to Farmers Society. Next login Bahamarama was back to sluggish and FS back to "normal" :)

    Here's why: For one, I read most of the posts related to platform transition/game performance to stay in picture so I've read that mantra dozens of times. :)
    For two, although our comps etc. influence game play it is actually the game itself which is broken, not my comp or software.
    As you probably know yourself bugs move around, one day things work, another they don't. Do I need to test other browsers or client to discover what other bugs the coders have still left in the game? I think you'll see my point here - it's not me, it's the game. Until the game is sufficiently fixed it stays random gaming for me.

    Related (hopefully) Question: What is the philosophy behind the client? Is that temporary "fix" during beta version, or is it that coders actually do not believe they will make browser game fully functional for every supported platform, so they are playing with this standalone client instead?

    Thanks for your help.

    Btw: Today I was lazy for manual harvest/struggle so I started Harvester and the game worked surprisingly well on that.

    Can you check my account too ... Since I switched to Unity, I can't play any games anymore ... Unity opens at the entrance but when I click on the fields it stays 100% like that ... flowers turn around ... I can't play at all ... I do F5 ... same things

    You may need to try clearing your browser cache and cookies, refreshing your game is not enough. You may also try using the downloadable client to see if that runs smooother. If you need further help, please start your own thread where we can assist you individually.

    The Game Team are working continuously to improve the game performance. There are many things that still need improving/fixing, so hopefully all issues that are known will be fixed as each day passes.

    The standalone client is a different platform and is being improved too. It is just a different alternative for players that have trouble with the browser version of the Game, either due to old hardware, etc.

    Right, the bug is coming and going.

    I think you can close for now. I don't have patience for all this "testing". Beta version is clearly not for me. I need full game. Will see what next months will bring, if your boys will ever get it right.
