    I read through the event pages, I don't know how to get the bottels.

    Hello sumacke.

    The Empty Bottles/Compasses are rewarded when you choose your first crop at the start of event. If you chose Compass Rose as your first choice, you would have been rewarded the Compasses to mill the first event crop. When you reach Step 7 on the progress Bar and donate the Life Jackets required you get the Empty Bottles/Compasses to mill the 2nd crop.
