Event Cancelled itself!!!

This isn't fair! I was harvesting my crops and went to check how much I got done and
it wasn't counting!! The first part of the event is cancelled and I can't get any rewards.

Same thing happened to me, solo! Try reloading your game...that's what I did and the timer came back.

 

Same here and reloading worked but the overnight harvest is lost and the timer shows 22 hours now which means to use the time I will have to be up by 4 am!! to do the last harvest.

 

On my farm Doreen1962 the first level has ended after 12 hours and given me a partial reward. I just tried donating for the second level and it won't let me. Pardon, I have just reloaded the game. My timer has returned telling me that I still have about 22 hours to go. I think there is a slight problem

 

Yes, "slight problem" is an understatement! This event is a mess. And the mods are nowhere to be found. We miss you, mods! (And we love you. The multiple postings on this thread is not "spamming". Spamming is when random people try to get you to visit their websites. What we are doing is letting others know they're not alone in this problem, and us trying to work together to find a solution, so please don't mind this conversation. *Leaves basket of goodies for mods and slowly backs out of the room*)

 

Hmm, I logged back into my account and now the thing pops up BUT I am still out of the harvested EP which an Admin needs to book back.

I get the amount: 10871 missing EP from my quest!

Or BP should just give up dang double EP for crops....

 

This has happened me twice now, a complete waste of time..

 

Bigpoint claims they "will" fix this stupid problem with a script.

I'm really tired of all mistakes they have been making...way too many.

 

reloading is not working for me, timer is still gone.

 

Probably won't matter cause the script should book the EP.
But don't count on it, BP fails a lot...

Just need to remember how much time you got left.
That's the most important.


To the mods,
If my post seem like I'm hating on Bigpoint, well that's too bad because we got no steam room. Plus I love farmerama but when it's not working right, I can't enjoy it.

Here is the latest update on this matter, so these problems should be fixed already. If you are still experiencing problems, please open your own thread.

I would like to remind you what I have been just telling another lovely player:
I am sorry you feel this way, but we should remember the positive aspects as well - even if the timing for this is bad. Let's keep in mind how great all the events have been going for months, and how we did not experience any bug of problem with them - and not just classify it as "too many" if one event room is causing problems. BP does not "claim" they will fix things, they are surely working hard, on a Friday evening, to fix them. I do understand your frustration, but we should not let one event issue wipe away all the hard amazing work of a wonderful team.
