I tried to sell manure at $139.xx which was the low price when I logged on. The market would not let me sell it for more than $108.xx?

If the low market price is over $139 why is making me sell it for less.

not a mod, but this happens when the market is moving very quickly. You are allowed to sell a certain percentage above either the average price or the 'base" or donation CC amount (the amount you see by the inventory listing), whichever is more. Some people have the rune to allow you to sell for a higher percentage. Even so, if the market is moving quickly down, then quickly up again, it can take time for the average to adjust. Give it time or sell for the max you can and be assured it will sell quickly.

I still don't understand. If I am allowed to sell for a percentage over the average or base why is it making me sell for less? The lowest price was $139.xx and I was going to sell for that so that it would sell quickly but it would not let me sell for that it made me sell for a lower price of $108.xx.

The average would be the middle point for all prices in the market -- mine was low
Not sure what you are calling the "base" price

Also not a mod but if there were a lot of lower priced lots of manure that just sold in the range of 100-110, then the base price would still include those in the calculation. Given some time, those will "drop off" and the base price will climb UNLESS more lots are put up at lower prices and then sell quickly. Right now with MM on, manure will be selling quickly and while you may not see those sales, they are there and they are used in the calculations.

Thankyou woody and BlackCaviar for your explanations.

    Hello nm56,

As the Market is now dynamic, prices rise and fall, so although the manure highest price might be listed, does not mean you can sell for that price. Also the Market Fairy rune allows players to sell for 75% higher prices than the normal 50%, so that might be the difference between the prices.

    Can I assist you further?

Thanks -- it is a little confusing when it calculates prices from the market that you can't see anymore because they sold.

I have noticed that when my items sell in the market that I do not get the money as soon as it disappears from the market.
