Mill Timers

What's up with the timers?

I was making power feed and when I saw that I would not have enough time I changed the power feed to a quantity of 3 because it would take 27 hours and there was still 28 hours left in the quest. This was in the first slot -- there were no other feeds in the process of being made because I cancelled/deleted them. Now my mill says I have 21 hours left before power feed is produced and the quest is over in 16 hours.

This is a big difference and could cause someone to not be able to finish the quest in time. I have enough to finish it but would like to keep some in inventory. I should also point out that BigPoint/Farmerama does a lot of things that are considered very generous by the players but when things like this happen it leaves the negative impression that it was done intentionally so that players would hurry up and buy power feed packs, etc.

This is not the first time something like this has happened to me but it is the first time that there was such a big difference in the timers (usually it is just a couple minutes).

Usually I do not pay that close attention to the timers because I figure they will just "run like clockwork" but since I changed the amount of power feed I noticed it and knew what time remaining the timers showed. I can't tell you how many minutes were on either of the timers when this happened because I wasn't concerned with it -- just knew feed was to be done before quest ended and if necessary I would have time to breed another animal.

As far as I know harvester timers are okay.

I am really sorry but I am afraid I did not understand exactly what the problem was with the timers ? Can you please give us specific examples when you notice them being wrong? A screenshot would be perfect, if not, at least the times and the feeds affected.

I can't give you a screen shot that would show what was wrong because it happened in the past.

As far as the time -- the beaver quest timer said there was 28 hours and ?? minutes left before it ended.

Feeds: It was the power feed: 3 x power feed = 27 hours -- less than 28 hours so my feed should have completed before the beaver quest ended but somehow it ended up needing more time (approx. 4 hours).

As stated the power feed was in the first slot so the total time should have been 27 hours for completion and when I posted this I checked and my mill clearly stated that it was working on 3 x powerfeed.

I didn't take a picture of the timers before the problem occurred. If I took a picture when I noticed the problem it would only show the time left in the beaver event and the time left on the mill production -- it woudn't show the times when I started the mill production.

As stated before this has happened in the past several times but only with a difference of a couple minutes (not hours).

It must have been a display glitch because your logs show correct times. Here are the latest productions of power feed:

• start 2015-09-13 22:02:45 - finish 2015-09-14 16:02:45 - 2 units of power feed
• start 2015-09-14 16:02:45 - finish 2015-09-15 19:02:45 - 3 units of power feed

If you stumble upon this again, please post a screenshot after refreshing the page (no need to clear anything) and we will investigate it further.

Are times shown CEST or EST?

Thanks for checking into it but I know that I had time to complete the 3 units of power feed when I started it because I had cancelled feed that was in production for the sole purpose of producing power feed that I could use in the beaver quest.

Not sure how you can tell whether logs show correct times or display shows correct time when there is a difference but i realize that you have to go by what the logs show. As stated before I can't post a picture of something that happened in the past unless I were to take pictures of every action that I took in the game just in case a problem should occur.

If the time is EST then the feed should have been completed before the quest ended and it wasn't.

The times are in CEST time zone (Germany time). ​

I will leave the thread open in case this occurs to you again, or the mill times are displayed wrong again. For this matter, all I can do is suggest you to contact our Customer Care Team to make up for it by speeding up one unit of your power feed productions . If you have missed the rewards by one breeding process, I hope you will find the desired solution with support. ​
