Purchased 2 Beaver dams...not in my inventory

Hi Tech staff!

After completing level 72 and leveling up to 73, I purchased two "beaver dams". I ensured the transaction went through, (using cc), and 12400 cc's were deducted from my account but the Beaver dams are not in my inventory.

I have gone through clearing the cache, refreshing the page, logging in and out etc...to no avail.
Appreciate your efforts into the matter.

Thank you for posting your user ID. I have checked your logs and noticed you have leveled up on the 5th of September. I reviewed your CC transactions and there is only one purchase related to beavers, and it is for beaver feed:
2015-09-05 07:25:38 CEST market.bought feed: beaver, amount: 7.00, price -11336.08 CCs

There are no stables bought on the same day, so there was no wrong purchase either I am not sure what happened, but somehow the transactions didn't go through, so you have not been charged for them either. If it helps solving the mystery, I can post the entire list of transactions from the level up day, or even all of them since then, so you can see the CCs were tracked correctly, and nothing is missing.

Regarding the Beaver dams, I tried several times to make the purchase. Once the transaction took place, I bought the beaver feed. I assure you, I know the transaction went through as I watched, I saw, exactly 12400 CC's deducted from my account in the amount for two beaver dams...I then went and purchased the beaver food. I had to be sure that the amount was deducted from my account before I purchased the Beaver feed. I had many technical issues that evening and was rather frustrated from it all. I tried to purchase a number of items but nothing went through except the beaver dams and beaver feed. In order to get the transaction to go through, I logged off, cleared my cache(s), restarted my computer and re-cleared the cache again, and refreshed the page just to be sure( I did this 3 times)! I would not have purchased the beaver feed if the transaction had not gone through for the Beaver dams...the feed is expensive(hence why I only purchased 7 feed)! I really wanted the Beaver dams due to the beaver breeding event coming up.

I have experienced this type of issue, and many others, numerous times. This is the first time I have ever reported it and reached out. I haven't reported anything until now as I felt I was playing the game for free, (although I have made a money purchase in the past and was considering making another for the beaver event). From now on, I guess I will have to check every transaction paid or unpaid and report all game issues. Me sad

As you can see, the amounts are adding up correctly and no CCs have magically disappeared Maybe you can identify the purchase that caused this misunderstanding, if you have watched the balance you had at that moment.

At the time I made the purchase for the Beaver dams, on screen, it showed that I had 47415.23 CC's. After paying for the beaver dams and food it showed 27617.25....which I thought to be correct due to both purchases. Of course I believed that I had two beaver dams with feed and was rather excited about it! When I logged on the next day I noticed everything was not as I thought.
Clearly the log shows differently...and I understand how that works.

As mentioned earlier, I have experienced severe game lagging numerous times before, especially during events. I do refresh often, clear cache, log off and restart. Perhaps I play within the game too quickly. My computer is set up for gaming and my internet is switched to super sonic speed when I participate in events.

I didn't really want to report this as an issue because I play this game for free. I enjoy Farmerama and the people within it

I went ahead and purchased two beaver dams yesterday (my time!) and looking forward to the next event.

Again, thank you TeddyBear for all of your help and time into the matter I really do appreciate you!

You are most welcome, and thank you very much for your kind words I am happy to hear the mystery was solved, but I am sorry for the confusion due to the lag, this could have happened indeed, the balance was updated late and the purchase didn't go through - clicking too fast can lead to the same result as well, if the server can't keep up and save all the actions.

As for reporting problems, please never hesitate to do so. Whether you play the game for free, without spending a cent on it, or spend thousands, it's none of our business or concern - we don't even have access to the payment info so all the players are equally important for us
