I don't like writing introduction posts, but thought I should put at least a few lines here.

First registered back in 2010 I think, when graphics were different. Didn't really play that much back then, but from late 2011 and onwards I've been hooked, even though I take breaks every now and then.

Have more than one farm but didn't make sense to have multiple forum logins, so I actually chose my low lvl farm for it, as it's the one I spend most of my time on now. I've pretty much only been a lurker before, so no one here knows me but I do recognize a name here and there from way back.

As for irl, I'm a very private person so all I'm gonna say is I live in Europe, I'm somewhere between 30-50 yo :p , love animals and have had lots of pets in the past (only one dog left) and my main hobbies now are gaming and writing.

Hi salty. I'm same age group as you, based in UK, animal lover too. Currently one 19 yr old cat, stone deaf (him, not me), but still a mouser.Keen gardener, reader, and mum to 2 small delightful/annoying boys, hence needing a distraction! Playing since last summer, now hooked. Good to know you, and all else reading this. Bxx

Hi betty, nice to meet you! Love cats as well, have had many. My two last ones were 17 when I had to put them down a wile ago. As cute as kittens are, it's the oldies you love the most. As for needing distraction, Farmerama is one of the most relaxing games I've ever played and I bet we're not the only ones for whom it serves as a great everyday stress release.

Hi salty. Nice to meet you. I hope you will feel welcome and comfortable and post here in the forum. You are a writer? What do you write about? What genre? Are you also an avid reader? Most people I know who like to write also love to read. I love to read but am not a writer.

    Hope to see you around....:)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! It's great to meet you all!

What types of books do you usually read? I used to be an avid reader, but these days I don't read as much. Writing fulfils the same need for me and due to time constraints I often have to choose between the two. Not a professional writer and don't aspire to be as it takes the enjoyment out of it for me as soon as it becomes a chore/work. As for genre it varies, but mostly either kitchen sink drama or fantasy oddly enough. :p

I read a wide variety of things and my preferences have changed over the years. I read both fiction and non fiction and enjoy light hearted humor as well as heart touching/moving stories. I really enjoy fiction with a historical setting and tend to stay away from anything that contains violence. In my younger years I did read murder mysteries and always tried to solve 'who done it' before the end but now find it too much and 'man's inhumanity to man' gives me nightmares.

I can understand how a hobby can become a chore if you lose its enjoyment. May you continue to enjoy writing for many years to come:)

    8) Hi Salty! (Or do you prefer Pixel?) Welcome to the forum. Hope we'll be reading more and more of your posts! Many of us are private/shy people in the beginning, but there are many fine people on this forum, and it gets to be fun to post. So glad to welcome another animal lover! And another lover of books and writing!:D Happy farming - and, yes, it is a great way to relieve stress!o_O

P.S. I'm from America, the state of Massachusetts in the northeastern part of the country.

Historical fiction is my absolute favourite genre when it comes to reading! Even with TV shows and films I prefer costume dramas above almost everything else. As for violence I have a pretty high tolerance for it as long as it's not entirely done just for shock value but I'll go for the swashbuckling kind if I get to choose as I agree with you that it can become a bit too much sometimes with mystery/murder type stories as it hits too close to home and what happens irl.

Likewise! I really like your banner, very cool! Makes me think of Black Sails (the TV show). :D

Ah, a world traveler! Well, I admit I don't live very close to Romania but definitely closer than to Korea. ;)
Hello farmlily! Salty is perfectly fine, but either works for me really, I'm not too fussy. ;) Thanks for the advice about the forum. I'm not at all shy irl, but oddly enough a little bit online sometimes but I'm sure I'll throw myself into a discussion here and there eventually.

Hiya Fifi! Thank you for dropping by this thread as well!

Yeah it is, isn't it? I love it! Even liked the "pirate politics" of S1 even though many found that tedious. Best thing on TV right now together with Vikings.

Really?! That's so generous, thanks a million! :D Well, name and ID (52559974) would do me fine. As for colours, I like red/yellow/orange shades, but anything goes really. And I have a thing for ducks, especially yellow ducklings. :p

    Hi salty!

    We almost there...

Just need to fill the username and ID number in there.. Sorry for waiting ..
I'm still looking for sparkling text to complete it (I'm thinking about a text with fire or thunder style).. I need your feedback about it..
Picture, animation, or something else what you wish.. ;)

Wish you okay with this one or I will find another one.. :p
Do not hesitate to tell me if you do not like it!

    o_Ooh ducklings, yay! :D

You have absolutely no reason to apologize, I'm extremely grateful you offered to make one in the first place and have no demands on the time it takes whatsoever. ;)

Fire or thunder style text sound good. Perhaps whichever would be easiest to read against the background?

Hello there! I have to say this is the first time I have seen you on here, how nice it is to meet you :) I don't know if you have heard of me but I also started the game back in 2010/11 I wasn't on for about two years and have only just recently joined again - thinking of the old graphics makes me all nostalgic now! Oh how it has all changed !

    Remember the old baha?
