    When can we use the other 2 pools? Mine are clean but I haven't been able to plant on them. Did I miss something in the instructions?

    You need to treat them like a normal field and place your base plots first, ie 1x1, 1x2 or 2x2. Then you can sow your event crops on to them.

    As ctindaldavies stated, you need to place the plots on the field first.
