The date is given as 10/6/2016 through 10/7/2016

In the US, that would mean October 6 though October 7, but I believe its really the European designation and means June 10 through July 10? Please clarify?

Thank you. Perhaps someone should note this distinction for future reference, to avoid confusion. Many of us do know that Europeans list the numbers for day and month differently, but not everyone. The best is to list the month as a word, then there is no confusion.
