Thank you SahraB for doing the hard work on this one. ;)
I think I will be sitting this one out ... though just in case I change my mind, I have planted Ixora in both fields! :music:

It seems like a lot for mainly run-of-the-mill prizes - the only ones that really appeal are the wonder stables/trees and they are always a bit of a lottery so ... I'm thinking about it. :D

    Unrelated to this event.

You may want to think quick and act if you can:
Hamster should be the next new breeding animal as announced.
Current feed requires 1 apricot, 1 carrot and 1 hay

    New feed announced:
    Requires: 1 unit of Hamster Feed (4 x Pears, 3 x Carrots, 2 x Hay)

This farm holds about 250,000 apricot, about 2 million carrots and about 2 million hay

I chose to now load the mill BEFORE the feed adjustment in order to mill 3 x 999 hamster feed (hereby using the apricot)

The farm holds over 1 million pears. Still cheaper for this farm to use apricot.

and grow carrots and hay? …………………………….. yeah right!

Looks like a barn burner and not sure rewards worth it. I am sitting out daily events and think I will build my barn up instead. Thanks for numbers and good luck to all!!

I have 817 old hamster feeds in my barn, Do you think BP will convert them to the new feed?

  10. farmer_broke

    farmer_broke Commander of the Forum

This same action was taken when a feed change took place with cat breeding. Worked very well for this farm.
One must have the feed in line to be milled BEFORE the change goes live or one will not be able to do this again

When anaconda breeding went live a feed change was made.
The broke farm DID NOT set feed up to be milled under the old feed formula. Happy I did not set up to use the old formula.
In the past, BP has left the feed that has been previously milled. This farm has nearly 4,500 finished hamster feed and I have no concern at this time. Also, such a deletion was not announced at the time of the feed change.

    Today on this market:
Apricot sales have been 3 times that of any other day in the past 2 weeks. (Sales are offered in lots of 100.)
Listed pears at a comparable total price as apricots. (Sales are offered in lots of 400)
NO SALES of pears offered thus far.

I see products being called for.
This farm HAS NOT been able to trade for pink workshops which will produce 2 of a product in a much shorter period of time than producing one. I have had no success. (I have no intention of building the pink workshops.)

RL will not allow me to even consider junking for this event. (Thank goodness!)

    Wish everyone here well.

I wish I had read the announcement before I set off my buffs! >:(

Not to worry, I got lucky this morning and won +100% Harvest for 24 hours and +200% Harvest for 12 hours so I had intended to reap what I could from those to give me a head start. I can still do that but will miss a harvest or two, depending whether I use SG or not. :music:

The event is starting 2 hours late kimharin. There is an announcement. There is also a Bonus Code: TOOLATE. ;)

To keep you up to date, set up Alerts for any new info. For instance, Announcements:

Go to Announcements (Top of the Forum list)
    click on "Watch Thread"
Then each time there is an announcement, you will get an Alert which shows as a number at the right hand side of the Forum.

You can set this up for any thread. Another useful one is Events. :)

351 Tumblers from 2 fields of Ixora flowers. Lovely start! :inlove:

Great idea illi19196. I didn't know I could do that. However, I already harvested everything (including my long overnight crops). So I'm out of this event now. I will try the alarm for alerts.

Perhaps you could do another long overnight crop to offset the loss, Peanuts. Or if you have enough SG, speed some long crops up during the day. :p

I'm hoping that the techs will tweak the drop rate so those who were affected by the late start will have a good chance of catching up. :)

Thank you SahraB and everyone. I'm in, with a very late start, and not a lot of time to play, but it's ok. Will do what I can, and grab a few goodies, it will be fun. This is my happy place. Good Luck everyone. :inlove:
