Farmers Society should open as a default to events , the same way the supply store does

that extra option is a 100+ worthless clicks


or put an option to activate submenus on all the buildings

 

It does that already. Click on the current event and it takes you directly to the farmer's society.

 

i meant the building , and also when there is no active event/quest

and if you are already in the city your suggestion adds yet another click

 

Your suggestion stated that the FS should open as a "default to events". I merely pointed out that it already was set up that way. Also if you are already in the city just open the FS, I didn't imply that you would use the event icon from the city that would add another click. I guess I'm just not understanding what you would like to see happen.

 

When you are on the farm you can donate directly to the event by clicking on the event notification to the left. When you enter through the farmer's society building in the city the default IS the event , UNLESS you were recently scrolling through other quests. THEN by default it will open to the last quest you were viewing. I'm sure it was made that way due to a majority wishing for it to be so. We can't ll have it all. As an aside, your writing sees very familiar! Did you go by another name before?

 

not all events use the farmer' society. As others have stated clicking the event icon takes you to the place you need to donate items to, be that the FS or event plaza.

I think maybe the suggestion is that if you click the FS building the Farmer Society Quests (FSQ) open immediately. Now it just opens the menu and you have to choose if you want to see the quests, the comic library or the farm orders. That menu annoys me too, most of the time I just want the quests.

Brakta, the term event is used for short term events that are announced in the event section, like the friendship event or gift and trade which is a "mini-event"

 

Excuse me, there are choices you would be bypassing then. Useless suggestion.
And they are quests, not events. It's so difficult to read AND understand.

I agree that the one extra step is annoying, but over-all, one extra step is not enough to drive me batty.

I will however respectfully disagree with farmingfree bird, as I don't think any player's suggestions are ever useless. But maybe if a solution were offered alongside comments that basically say, "I don't like this," it would be better received and a more fruitful discussion could happen? (Especially if you are the one starting a new thread).


@ Brakta ~ Looking at the city picture (below), if you were to remove the two links (one to the Comic Library, and one to the Farm Orders) where would you put those two links instead?

In closing, remember it's not a matter of being right or wrong when offering game-improvement suggestions - or even talking about the game in general. It's working together to find solutions to things that we think could function better. I think one issue is that Brakta's siggy / attitude is annoying people (sorry friend). - I myself wish I was wrong only 10% of the time lol! (And honestly, I write this with a prayer that no one takes what I am saying the wrong way, explodes emotionally, and creates a mess for teddy or other mods to clean up).

regarding the options i already explained : "to open the same way the supply store does " where it goes to the main interest item, and the on the top left corner you have a way to circle thru them ( and this part has already been done )
the point is that if nobody is saying anything look what happens when somebody does ! ( everybody jumps on you back ) no worries tho , I'm a big man i can "carry" 3-4 people at a time

 

@Braka - you are welcome! I am glad you are taking a mellow approach. I have a story about a 99.99%... but since it is off-topic, I won't write it here. I have some packing to do today, but maybe later I can write it up and place it in my hang-out spot.


I am still not understanding what you are suggesting though. The supply store has a lot of clicking involved too. I've personally never been a fan of the supply store set up; but once you can figure out where something is, it's not too bad. (I know I should buy my daily 100 seeds from there and resell them for profit, but I usually avoid that building like the plague lol!)


If I were to relocate those two tabs, I would move the Farm Orders back to the Farmhouse. (And gosh, why not move that Comic thing there too??) Or better yet, move the Comic library, Crest tab and sticker album onto the wood frame next to the chat shortcut! (Upper-right corner)

How about this for a suggestion? In a perfect farm-world, the Farmhouse would have all the daily farm "chores" in one spot. I think it would be beneficial if the Farmhouse could include direct links to the following places: the greenhouse refinery, the farm wheel, the clouds, the market, the seed shop (island and main), the Farm orders (not that I have done anything with them in ages either), and... what else am I missing??

Again, nice talking to you, but as my family is getting ready to move, I really need to take a break and go pack a few things now!

CJAT: good idea, i would actually suggest a menu bar with all the shortcuts, available on all the pages for speedy players, ~edit~

( by that i mean a menu so you can access any page without going thru other page first ) in non flash games i don't have this problem because i create custom shortcuts for myself

PS: CJAT let me know when you post that story i'm curious by nature

That must have happened just after I posted! It most likely happened when BP converted the leftover roses, and friendship potions to CC/EP!!

@ Braka ~ I don't think your idea is silly - it would work great to add another button between where one's farm level is and the setting menus. I could totally see it working. I wish I had time to make a picture, but I have a promise to keep. (Although as for the 99.99%, I will give you a leader: "On the night I met my husband...")

I can't finish now as I promised the above hubby I would use up some rhubarb in the freezer (less to move) and make him a strawberry rhubarb pie! (And then pack some more lol!)


So what other ideas can we come up with for improving the Farmer's Society??
