Strategy for Kitty Chaos

Just getting back from holiday - to a field of weeds
I knew it would happen but oh well.
Too busy lately missed MM also.
Will try for the 100 but that is about it for me.
Needing 600 balls of yarn and 11,000 crops is going to be hard for me this go round

Thanks. Right now I don't remember the Easter bunny, except the old early one, or Sushi Bat events. I went back to my weeds and clicked on a kitty and kept getting the mill. Took a few tries but I figured it out. lol

 

I don't understand why they only give us 5 seeds. It must be particularly difficult for farmers who do not have the harvester, CAC or super grow. This must be the meanest trick that BP play on us. Come on BP give 5 more seeds, be Father Christmas not Scrooge.

102 balls of yarn so far. Just planted 1st round of 405 seeds on 1x1's.
Chickens out making poop. Impossible to try for Top 1000, don't have the CC's to even think about it, so pressure is off! So now going to relax a bit, will try to get as many prezzies as possible cause I like prezzies.
Game lag with forum open driving me crazy. So good luck to everyone & hope you all achieve your goals. Will check back in later.

 

@julie1013 , I am a cat lady and I knew within seconds at the shelter which one I was taking home with me. That little cutie I brought home is also called Izzy .

As for the event I'm going for the 100 but I'm not online enough to go for more I don't think. Good luck to all those who go for it though!

 

I only got 57 balls of yarn in my initial harvest, due to the fact that I overslept by 4 hours. Didn't even hear my alarm clock...I guess I was tired! Anyway, my farm was idle for a long time and now my drops are abysmal. Hopefully they'll improve now that I'm well-rested. I have my CAC going, and my 5 (why do we only get 5??!) seeds on 2x2s nuked with everything. Good luck everyone!

 

I started an hour into the event and will see how far I get today. We are leaving in about 12 hours on vacation and won't get back until the end of August so I will miss all this months events, no internet where I will be. I hope to get part way, but will see how it goes. I sure wish it would work on my phone as I could get more days done. All the suggestions don't work on my older droid x phone.

 

Thanks for thinking to put this in the thread, Aetheria. That was my problem during my first year with the game; when it was hard to part with so many cc's.

My first two 2x2 harvests of osier netted 12 yarn balls (with buffs running) on main field. Added to my initial harvest close to event start, I now have 155 yarn balls.

Things should improve with 1x1's on the fields; though I will be counting on refined carnations and ginger overnight to give me the drop return I need. I won't start milling until I have a large enough surplus of osier after planting all fields. I will probably stop manure after I have reached halfway on osier total. SG was used only to build up enough seeds to start planting (measly 5 starter seeds)!

Thanks for the warnings on requirements, SillyGuy and Mooboy! You may have saved some farmers from getting in over their heads.

 

Top 1000 list already has started forming. Some familiar names up there.

The one at the top, with 174 kittens fed already. That means over 1K event's drops gotten and over 19K event's crops done, already. And the equivalent to over 1K minutes of milling time, already rolled.

Some serious mound of BBs this guy/gal is pouring.

Who can stand a chance?

 

It doesn't take skill or strategy, just deep pockets filled with RM. Where's the fun and satisfaction in winning that way?

 

Where can I find the list? Curiosity has gotten the best of me, and I want to see the names and numbers.

I am both fascinated and confused with the huge numbers of cat toys posted already. I was pleased with the eight I have finished so far but as we were forewarned, it is astonishing how fast others with resources are attacking this challenge. My question is about the top 10 farmers. On the news opening page, if you scroll down, there is a "Top 10" farmer list, with two categories, one for xp and one for cc. The players mentioned hasn't changed much in a very long time so I was expecting to see all or most of them at the top. But I only see one player, k.tynka (who is the number 3 for xp) listed. So do the folks with over a billion cc, yes that is billion with a B, wait to swoop in at the end or like Farmerbroke, just skip it and make a fortune off of the many market opportunities in an event like this? I can't imagine not trying for the top prizes if I had those kind of resources.

 

CCs don't do. It's BBs what makes the difference. That's all.

 

Thank you Aluntino. It didn't occur to me that the two don't always go hand in hand, but I can see now that would make a difference, as having boatloads of SG and SSG are key. I simply wish I could keep buying manure to keep my osier fields going at a faster pace. Not sure at what point I should give up a field to chickens or perhaps I'll just embrace the slower pace and hope to finish.

 

I think that is actually 274 I don't think the first 100 count, otherwise there would be way more players on the list

 

I would give an arm, a leg.. and well almost anything else to get hold of the "Kitty Chaos" Deco item; +40% Ep for 3 h. Sweet!!
But I know I wont stand a chance with all of these super-farmers (that obviously don't have to spend time at work but can still pay their way through an event. It eludes me)

I got 16 balls of yarn from my initial harvest Fell asleep with Chickens every where. Greed got the better of me as I tried to cash in on the Manure market. Plenty of time to catch up so no worries.

I agree @-Mir85- you only make that list after feeding the first 100 kittens!
So 274 teasers is 1644 balls of yarn & 30,140 osiers - talk about your super-grow & Suzy's super-grow! Not to mention using both mills with the mill subscription.

To each his/her own, but somebody really wants to see their name on top ... lol
