Strategy for Kitty Chaos

Feed 85 kitty. Not bad! predict to Finished basic event got CR tomorrow.
As going for top1000 is not my main target. If I could get there, fine, if not. It's ok.

Have over 2000 Osier on hand. Now times for growing some Carnation to harvest
next morning. After that, I will keep one field for Osier growing. the Main farm 2 field
will focus on long hr crop. Baha will turn back to island crop as EP is much higher.
Let see how much drops I could get in 2 day then to see if I need to adjust my strategy.
Get alot of prize from the little kitty

I've finished my 100 kitties and have 17 extra done. Hatzvea's advise of using refined raspberries really paid off for me last night...lots of drops. I will keep going at my leisurely pace as I'm loving all the goodies.

So far I have more than 40 cat toys on each farm. I figure at an average of 20 per day I can finish the main event, no sweat. That is starting with 2.5 fields of weeds. I just need to try to make sure I can harvest at least twice a day. I used SG the first day because I wanted to get something done. But only on the first two rounds. Some fool, who shall remain nameless, forgot to use CAC for those first two rounds. Couldn't figure out why I only had 35 seeds after the first round. lol
I was too tired to do a third harvest last night. I thought I was going to be too busy to login today. But I'm in hurry up and wait mode... So maybe tomorrow...

It seems like such a waste to me that people rush thru the early part of an event and dump so much SG. If it gives them pleasure or is needed to alleviate anxiety, OK, go for it. But the math says this is a simple main event. No stress. NOT a judgement! Just saying some seem to be creating stress for themselves. Believe when I say RL is stressful enough with generating it unnecessarily. It's only the people who have the hearts set on Top 1000 that have to scramble. And they will probably have to use SG on every harvest to STAY there. The odds are something like 1,000 / 1million or 1:100,000 BUT actually much worse since there are probably more than 1 million active players. That's a lot of money to grow event crops and harvest every ~1.5h to see ones name in lights. But if it makes you happy...

When I first started reading this forum 4y ago. I've more than once found myself thinking what an interesting project for a psych study...

Finished my 100 but carrying on as I'm hoping to get some GB's. I'm not interested in doing the top 1000. The prizes aren't that great. Good luck to those who are trying to do it.

 

My baby farm is 4 days old and has played with 33 kitties. I used 5 SG only, planting only as an overnight crop as it's my longest. The prizes have been great and allowed me to get to level 11 on Baha . Also got some CAC as prizes. Mostly playing in the poo market

If this is like most competitions a lot.
People do these for that rush, I remember back in the stone age, you know, when phones were wild and needed to be on leashes at home and in steel boxes out among peoples I mountain biked in races, you always hang back till that last moment then blam take out half the leaders in one bust.
Gotta love that rush, blow on by them, start the real race, do as all the big dawgs do, bark and watch em shake to the side. ohh to be young again.
But I would say, 400-1000 will be pushed out when the rest come into play.

Hi Meba! In which number are you now? I searched for you but it is very difficult to find anyone there.

 

One unclear thing, though, at least for me, about the final 1000 list, is that, at its very bottom, in its very final checked and re-checked version, there will be a tie, for sure. That is, for example, if current list were the final one, that number would be 51, and many people would have donated 51 kitty things, exceeding the 1000 total. What will they do, then? Expand the total of prize winners to all those having donated 51, regardless of if the total allocation of prizes is larger than 1000, or what?

Does anyone know?

 

I am growing crops every 4 hrs and 48 minutes, and have 50 XXL trees out for drops.
So far I have spent 800 BB's for 600 drops.... It is going to cost me a whole lot more !!

I don't know for sure, Aluntino, but They would have to give the prize to all at 1000 and equal to, even if there were 1100 !! Surely...

Aluntino - I have been wondering about the same thing! Hopefully, BP will do the honorable gesture and give all the ties the grand prize award as well!! Otherwise, they are going to have some very angry people on their hands!

@Aluntino Good guestion and I don't know but my guess is that the players donating first is the ones on the list and the ones getting the prize no matter how many having donated the same amount. Edit That would be mean though.

@Arielh I have donated 152 and are rank 153 at this moment.

@davidb1yth007 Wow that is a lot of BB for drops. When this is over you ought to work on refining your roses. They will yield a lot of drops in no time if you got the SG to do it. If not I think it will be cheaper for you to buy the SG to grow the roses than buying the drops.
