Strategy for Recycl O Mat

Took 14 tries to get the Recycl-booth from pool A. Now if I can just get the other EP givers without using up that many more resources I will be good to go.

 

Finally, Harvey Cottontail in mine he was playing hide and seek

I'll be planting refined raspberries overnight and using what I grow for the rest of the event. Time to stock up on rabbits.

I've been working a lot so the Re-Cycle-Mat-Marathon starts now:



I've been wondering why I have so many batteries left over from the last Event (2012 I think) but the Event prices must have been that rubbish, I just didn't bother. This time however, I'm happy to welcome any Harvey or Perumary to my farm. Best of luck and happy Recycling all!

 

From 7 additional turns of the wheel of PoolA, I've got one Harvey yesterday (a pretty stingy one, though: it gifted me just 2 Suzy-sprays and no idea of what today; EDIT: I've just got it: 3 SGs: haven't I told you my Harvey is a stingy one?) and a perfumery + 2x30 PFs. The additional perfumery is nice to have but not to use: it's way better business to buy the powder from market and keep the butterflies safe in barn.

From PoolC, 26 additional tries, I got most of what I wanted: 3x 10 turbo-mulch (precious), 6x25 SGs and 3 PACs.

All in all, I'm pleased with the outcome. Therefore, once I get my nublonian batteries stock replenished, I'll try again, insisting on Pools A and C.

I would love to hear more from details on how to improve on battery drops. Trees and low level stalls have been terrible for me, so very painfully I took down some of my trees and rabbit central to become a carnation farmer again. I used SG on Carnations in comfort fields overnight, which for the first time netted a 100% return, 44 CF plots gave 44 batteries but that is way too expensive for me to keep doing. Is anyone having good luck with the event crop? I am still on the hunt for the elusive Recycle Booth and plan to keep trying as long as I have batteries to do it.

I had to stop all, no more market, no more space fun, now down to farm chores, it was hard steppin away from the market...the CC's to be made!!! you farmers really want to feed that space machine! and as long off cousins I say go forth and feed them!!!lol.

 

I planted some on Baha since my longest crop there is only 6 hours. Once I got the seeds propagated I planted two rounds to be sure and the drops were actually less both times than what I was getting for my shorter crops like bromolied and pineapple.

Aetheria - I have just been using refined carnations on regular 1x1 plots, with water, CR and CAC. I am getting 35 to 37 batteries per field.

 

I got 118 batteries from Spinach. One of my Harvey Cottontails gave me a Jumbo Pig Stable Orange.

 

I know as I ask this that it's a dumb question (hides face in embarrassment) but you are looking in Pot A the 35 Battery pot aren't you.

The Harvey's have been good to me also.

 

Broke I have not bought a nublon basket, just seems really pathetic that I had over 300 batteries to start, got the turtloid the first day and almost exclusively ep since. just downright mean of them I say!
In the morning I start a 6 day marathon of work 1 of those days is a double shift, get 1 day off and start the work marathon again. with Another double shift thrown in. So It will be longest crops planted and hope I can stay awake long enough to activate buffs,harvest and replant without major screw ups.

 

Think I beat you on that one Aluntino: first day 3 Merchant Licences (I have never used one as far as I can remember!) and today 2 Supergrow!

Not complaining, I love the additional gift from Harvey but I am hoping for something a little more exciting!

 

illy - I had never used my merchant licenses either until the time before last G/T. Since we do not have a train to recycle Baha trees, you can get nice CC for selling back xl trees. Made a few million CC.

 

I used my merchant licences last G and T and did the same as pnp - xl Baha trees sell for lovely amounts of cc's. I also sold all the Hi Bear Nations I had as there was no room to put them (6500cc each I believe).
