Strategy for Neon Stables Event

Ι got 2 of the 3 neon stables, rabbit's and goat's but not the one for chicken. I also got GB from donating goats. I will try to get the items because there is still time but it is so tempting to stop donating and start selling

Event done - using barn stock only. I'm now breeding and making cc's quite happily with my roasters, cocoas and speckled goats. At this rate I'll be able to afford to buy my animals to finish soup n friends!

Sailing in the same boat as you. Got neon- rabbit & goat. Its the chicken which might be a problem. We never gave any importance to it and used it and the rabbit to make food for anacondas. I personally don't like anacondas/snakes.

 

Wow! Finished the event without any breeding! Using Mooboy's chart, I did a few creative exchanges for animals from my stock, sold more base animals (my market was high!) and bought a couple of extra higher levels to finish out.
Breeding for fun now and still selling for profit!

I'm with you poppyseed - I'm in it for fun! I do enough work in real life!

This isn't actually correct. I needed 2 Trixx + 1 Cocoa + 7 Rabbits = 18000EV

Also I'm wondering if you based your goat numbers on someone having the Jumbo stables? Only a question since it seems like a lot of speckled goats rather than a mix and match.

Thanks for doing all those numbers though I've been using your KISS method and so far so good.

Despite FOCD, I think I will forget CR. Auto harvester takes care of Harbour and way too many cloud rows. The giver items are more likely to be harvested twice a day in the Harbour than the CR - for me anyway!

 

Well,I wasn't feeling up to farming last night so when I finally checked in today, lo and behold I see there is a BBD Talk about getting caught with your pants down Hopefully there will be another one this weekend. Glad I caught the mill deal Movies haven't been cooperating this last week but I will spend my BB's on this (at least I know what I am getting) Good luck to everyone

 

I have the CR and have my Neon stables out on my fields. I have also made 6 Mill in CC's which is not much for some and a ton for others. For me this is a lot! Yippee! The market is falling so I will not make as much, but I have plenty more to sell so maybe I will be able to buy me a Pretty Pink Camel that I have had my eye on.... That is if one becomes available again in my market.

just my 100 cents most likely not worth a buck, bur as to if the cr is worth it? to me yep, I fallow the whole it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Your mileage will differ.

I got the stables and then got involved in the market frenzy. I made 4 million cc's in like 10 minutes. I didn't sell all my stock either so I'm still working on the last two steps. I can even raise more stock before a possible BBD this weekend if I want. I can't believe what I just sold base animals for.

 

Bhodho - I guess it depends on how many filled rows you have. Personally, I went for it because I could not complete events due to RL for a couple of years - and have fewer rows than some others. Also, I am still not rich enough to discount the cc offering!

 

I thought you could have made more CCs selling the animals you donated.
Still am undecided...

 

I'm done with what I can do with this event. I went as far as getting the neon stables and that's all I can do.

Perhaps initially I could have, but I'm thinking for the long term in going for CR rewards! Everyone has their own goals, so you may have a different view about such things.

Also, I have made up costs on animals bought cheap earlier - plus the few higher levels I got to finish the event for the row - with the high market prices. Actually have a few million over from my start point!


Dear farmer_broke - I went down to a couple hundred thousand cc's in my early animal purchases several months ago and have been

low in cc's until today's bonanza! Not quite your zero point; but it was scary enough for me. This humble farmer is pleased with her modest success!

At least chickens are the fasted to grow. Do you have feed for them? I have more than 1000! There was a time that I didn't want to make feed so I used to buy. I bought a few hundreds chicken feed and then I wanted to buy parrot feed. It seems I didn't notice what I clicked so I went to buy chicken feed again. I was surprised to see that "parrot" feed was so cheap so I bought lots of them. I found out later that I didn't buy parrot but chicken feed again Well no feed went wasted.

Finally, decided to use some color animals, mix with my base one.
Today BBD I finished. Breed some pig & some rabbit. skip not quite very good.
don't get a scaredy. So, if there is BBD at weekend. I will try some rounds, if I
could had get 1 scaredy within 20 PF, I will do further step, otherwise , I will drop
the rabbit. I will either get the chicken or goat deco.

 

I finished the event all except for the CR as I elected to sell my surplus stock rather than continue to breed it. I've got the space in my park for the givers and I really do not want to give up any more animals on that CR. Just my own decision.

Many thanks to all who posted strategies and did the math!! I stopped at getting the stables and will make some CCs for the rest of the event. My new neon stables are so pretty!!!

 

Hurrah ! I have finished the quest. Did some breeding, got some power feed from FSQ- did some more breeding- got the cloud row too - activated it - Didn't expect I would finish the quest so early within hours. I thought I had to grow animals all through out the event - Just try donating some breed animals. Sold the remaining animals

My tip for easy completion - rabbits - have 3 to 4 scaredy for the 5th level & Cloud row. Calculate and donate. Very easy. Just try buying the required breeding animal nearing the value and deposit. You can also minimise your buying by breeding some. Try the same method for chicken & goat. Very simple. For the 5th level & cloud row - donate breed animals - in that way you can finish it soon. If you can't breed try obtaining CCs & then buy the necessary animals. The event is not as tough as it seems.
