New Bahamarama Rain Forest (New Land)

Don't think they've released one yet. Probably later today.

 

I knew those breeding runes would come back to bite me in the bum . So, step 1 - start utilising the market properly to complete the quests I can to get the remaining 130 stars, step 2 - xxl trees and classic II animals away!

 

I could be wrong but I think all the info needed is in the official announcement.
Tells you, you need 250 stars, shows you where on the map to click and there it is. Up to you how you use it.
If I've missed something, please tell me.

I did read the announcement, but eventually there should be a FAQ. I guess the question is whether that is all or if there might be more required.. such as if we can use Golden Bananas in lieu of stars or if there is a quest, etc. We will see!

 

It's really hard for us newer players to save stars, or at least it is for me. I've been working on it since I saw the rumor a few days ago and I'm still about 34 stars short. I even went so far as to go ahead and open the florist craft. Between farmwheel wins and ones purchased at deeply discounted prices I had enough wedding bouquets to boost me to level 3 which opened the bakery. I squeezed a few more stars out there.

I'm close but still some work to do.

 

I doubt so, woody. I find the OA pretty thorough: it even includes a picture of where in the Tree of Wisdom we'll have to look for the rune to unlock the additional Baha land. It's the 250 stars, and nothing else, it seems.

 

If only I knew about this new land sooner, I wouldn't have spent stars to get a free officer chameleon, leaving me 145 stars short! So, for more stars, I only have the glue and luggage quests to finish but as Mooboy pointed out, these two products are quite pricey, so can’t rely solely on the market to finish the quests.

I already have 3 bio-labs, plus enough drip tanks, to build 4 more. And got 4 luggage shops already, and can build 2 more. If I build these, I’d be left with: 163-saw, 173-hammer, 628-boards, 82-oak seedling, 406-shovels.

I feel like I never want to run out of tools, but for what reason, don't really know, so can't say for sure whether these levels are acceptable enough for me. Though now that people would be hitting the markets for products, maybe it'd be a good idea to use up my surplus tools to make more workshops. Guess I'm curious as to how much tools do others like to keep on hand.

 

Not sure if you're optimistic or naive. Event requirements jumped when BP realised how easy events had become with CAC/PJ. As events have become easier to complete once again I'm expecting event crop requirements to jump again.

 

You are not alonestar saving for me works two ways, 1. I am saving to open a rune IE: the what 5 levels of manure/artisan % up only if you get the levels your crafts will make/be bigger/make it nicer for you today, don't stop the tree needs feeding of stars!.
2. I am stuck between two needed runes bakery for level two or jam for level 3 but can't forget spa.......
yep star saving I don't seem to be good at it yet. Now if we had 1/8th the heads up as the reef.......

Just my 100 cents most likely not worth a buck.
For me, the tools slapped me sideways the little suckers can be called for to fill quests.
Beware of this, I was taken by surprise not thinking they would be used this way but they can........
I try mind you try is a slippery word to keep a set amount in the barn <board, beware of the boards> and really I did good right up to red chicken thing I got blinded me to keeping track, yes I blame the chicken.

 

Well! That sure took the wag out of my tail.

 

The rainforest doesn't need anything more to unlock all the space, only 250 stars.

 

I have Unlocked Rainforest used 250 Stars, as you unlock that whole Field which is Exactly Same Size as Bahamarama of 188 1x1 Fields In The FAQ did not saying anything about Drops of Rainforest

I am Guessing you get the same drops as you would on Bahamarama, Sadly no Tool Drops Here. But it Certainly gives you Bahm EP

Only a couple of days ago I blew 80 stars on something I didn't even care about, so now I'm down to 37 with most lower level quests completed and less than 1m cc in the bank. *headdesk*

Ah well, I can dream and be happy for all of you lucky farmers who already have new space on Bahamarama!

I only have 49 stars, so I have a ways to go to open the new lands. Yep, I am among those who blew a bunch not that long ago, but "c'est la vie". The more I think about it, the more I am willing to just wait. I am going to open the last statue soon, then its just about getting GB for the coral reef.. whenever that happens. At any rate, none of this is going away. Its not an event which requires a rush. I DEFINITELY like the new land, but I am willing to wait. Prices for most things are currently skyrocketing, so I am selling a lot. When they drop, I can buy again.. or maybe we will get some more events that will give stars. At any rate, when it opens, it opens.
