Septemberfest strategies!

Got a Baobob, my sixth.
and an Amherstia, my second
and a Kingfisher, my first.

Got the silver cloud row, the misc items, and two extra silver organs which are playing along nicely on Shipwreck Bay.
Not too big of a rush for bananas anymore.
Only two trees left to open, then then camel breeding, and the gift and starter packs I passed up the first time through.

I think I did well as I ended up getting the silver CR and all the miscellaneous items except for the GB.

Stables: rooster, mouse, kiwi, raccoon
Baha trees: 5 XXL brazil nut 1 XXL kiwi

I have the main trees planted but no results yet. Got to be better than the Baha trees, normally I think any XXL's are a bonus but I already had 13 XXL brazil nuts. That's a lot of nuts.

 

I hope it is a very long time until I'll tear down my whole farm again putting it back together is so much work

 

Mir, but the builder makes it soooooo much easier.

 

IDK about Mir but for me the builder isn't very helpful with the way I set up my farm. I have very specific places where I want my trees and pens. (Not to mention that it only believes you can place 39 2x2 crop fields in the Magical Glade.)

 

The builder is great for some things Baw but like Noelle I want to arrange my trees and stables the way I want them, and then the builder is of very little help

 

Mir, sorta, but if you have 20 of some pen that you only want to put out 3 of it's easier to to that with the builder, at least for me. Same goes for trees. I just move them with the multi-tool.

 

I collected 1395 coins in the end, using 24 or 25 Premium bags and 2 Regular. But I waited too long to use most of them, doing 20 15-ball-games in a row was like working a full shift but it had to be done before the event ended, and before I had to go to my paid job

I spent my well earned dosh on the basic CR and its items, a few silver and gold organs, a basic cask and everything apart from the harvest coupon in the miscellaneous

Indeed, I thought so too, and did the same; my most precious (come to think about it my only precious sticker) Still had 8 coins left over so wished we could get two stickers this time

Yes, it does help baw but after putting them out there is a lot of rearranging to do, and I also need to figure out how I want it, because I rarely set it up exactly like I had it before.

The most complicated one is the magical glade where I keep trees and stalls, put up a picture here. The two other mainland fields are just 1x1 plots. Plantation field on baha is 1x1 with trees on the edges, the rain forest has my red/pink stables/workshops with the most valuable XXL trees on the edges and the rest in 1x1 plots. On baha the trees on the edges makes it easy to switch to stables when I want to

 

I'm using the analog way to re-arrange my fields

I am very tired after playing this game. Have not restored my farm. Will not be doing it till I am back to normal. I have to think & place the pens & trees. That's a lot of work. Just put out all the sheep & ducks & jumbos. But not harvested any of it. So very tired.

I got an Tortoise habitat from the stable - my first one - didn't think I would acquire it so early & nothing mentionable from the main land trees or baha trees. My baby farm got a kingfisher. That's really great. 2nd farm got a sea-buck thorn, kowahi & sorb. That's great too.

I got all the miscellaneous including the sticker and the golden cloud row. I thought I will not buy the sticker. But what to do with few left out coins. All others were costly. Already harvested the cloud row 3 times. Very happy.

May be we will have such a game in future because by the look of it - so many rewards - sorted out & arranged - one couldn't get all the rewards.

Special thanks to mud_pie_man/_broke. It was from his post I got the idea & bought & planted 300 maple tree. After 3 harvest using all my turbo mulch, I removed them. So bobble was not a problem to me. Thank you broke ! I got the golden cloud row because of you idea. I can compensate the amount spend on buying trees by selling its fruits. See what an market strategist he is ! I have planned never to be broke again. If I am broke, it must be that I should be a millionaire in the next month. How does that sound ?

Agree, I REALLY wish there were a way to save our placements.

I just got the bronze level and a couple of bronze EP givers. I would have gotten at least one silver giver, except I bought the second bronze by mistake (did not realize I had one in storage) and then did not have enough left. Ah well... nice event regardless.

 

My field bobble drop rates were simply terrible. Nothing except my few SG, SSG, or a Turbo Mulch tree was dependable. Most of my XL/XXL trees just sat there when I harvested them. I DO NOT WANT NAILS! I WANTED MORE BOBBLES!

Isn't this the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome?
All I got were the miscellaneous items. Outcome of all those wonder tree/stable prizes? Got crappy duplicates of the masses I already have, with one bright shining exception: Got one Amherstia tree. [doing my happy dance]
Still trying to win any of the newer trees through event prizes, but my chances seem to be slim to none - and slim has left town !!
It's starting to look like I may need to purchase during wonder tree mini-events with BB to have any hope, which I don't want to do.

 

I will not begin resetting my main land farm until MM starts - just don't have the time now. Have begun on the island, as trees are harvested and put away/relocated.

Congrats 12ss12 on getting the gold row and some new animals! While I initially wanted the gold row, I could see it would be far to costly with the low drop rates - so compromised for silver.

MsTheaP - I know how you feel! It has been too long since I had wonderful results from Wonder Stables and Trees. Who knows, maybe the next time will be the charm for us!
