Just played with the cloud row, and I think it needs its own feedback thread.
I hope you get a lot of positive feedback. Much better than the old one.
Showing the color back in the graphic when done, always showing the time remaining, and the popup that gives details for that row on hover are massive improvements.:D:D:D

Provided none of these features are taken back at a later date, this is a great improvement to the game.

    freebird:
You can not sort the base cloud row.
you need to select a group before you can sort.
    pst... favorites is a group.

I agree, a stand-alone feedback thread would be nice please.

Having waited so long for this feature I find it rather over complicated. I would just like to sort all the rows into the order I want, no 'grouping' needed. All my empty rows would be at the bottom.

My Big Complaint is the cost. It is out of proportion to the time saved and, as I buy my harvester functions through the half price sale, I now have to spend extra to get the Cloud Harvester, which negates the saving I have made. Therefore I will not bother with it. I will therefore also not be buying extra Cloud Rows when they become available. I think 3 BB for 48 hours would be a more acceptable price, although I think it should be free with the existing harvester function. I usually have over a months harvesting functions which I top up to two months in the half price sale. I buy the builder as and when I need it.
I only spend real money on BB which I can then use as I wish.

    Loving' the cloud row harvester!!!

I added all my completed rows to favs and presto no more empty rows to look at. Now I'm busy sorting the favs into the order I want. Wonderful!! Deliriously happy!! Great job!!!

What a good idea. Completed in favorites, and voila, no more empty rows, that way it'll work. thanks for the idea!

I do like the new cloud row. Its just sad the so often BP will introduce a nice change that obviously took a LOT of development work (cloud row, rainforest, etc.), then blow it doing something simple that was plain not well thought out. (like not allowing any older player to buy the super cloud row with supergivers because BP earlier gave out, without givers)

EDIT: I have quite a few cloud rows, so the ability to harvest en mass is a definite benefit. When I am in a hurry, its nice to just click that function, even if I activate some rows I might prefer not to use right then.

The categories are necessarily imperfect, but very reasonable given the possibilities. I would like a category "for those items that specifically impact event items and drops," but everyone would have their own "wish list" and meeting them all is impossible. And, since the event crop rows also have other attributes, doing that would be difficult.

At first I was a tad ambivalent about the sort functions, but now use it to sub-sort the individual items per secondary attribute. I only have one workshop row, for example, so I just put that at the top of the animal category. Some other people might like to sort them by time to mature, etc.

The best is probably the "favorite" category. I use it to parse out the many rows that do not in any way impact a harvest or time. For me, this is not quite the same as the individual categories. That way I can go ahead and harvest them whenever they are mature, but leave those that impact harvest/times/etc for when they will be most effective or will be most needed for an event.

Regarding the new cloud row harvester and sort:
I like the more informative display about each cloud row. Moving the rows up and down in the sort is a pain. I do not plan to purchase the CR harvester. Not cost effective.

I agree with BlackCaviar. The row information is very helpful, but for me there is no reason to purchase the harvester.

I am loving the cloud row harvester and the information on the rows is brilliant. I only have one thing that I don't particularly like and that not being able to sort when looking at all the cloud rows.

I too love the new cloud harvesting function, though it took me a while to work it all out (my fault, not the instructions!). The favourite function is just what I wanted - sometimes I don't want to harvest all the rows and, by accident, I did it anyway. Now I can avoid that! :)

I really like that we can see how many cloud rows are ready as well as them being more clearly visible as ready.

The only thing that I don't like is that if I purchase just the harvester, it doesn't work on the cloud rows. I would not pay for the cloud harvester because it only takes a few minutes and BBs are too precious. But if I have to harvest manually now, it is still better than before, I can see if there are any clouds ready and then click through all the favourites without having to check them. :inlove:

I'm loving the Cloud Row Harvester!!!

With just one idea for improvement (in my opinion) I would love that any of the rows I have tagged as a favorite could no longer be harvested using the other options. I have them tagged so as not to harvest them when I don't want them running. Things like the moonlight mania row, the event crop row, the faster breeding row, etc...

Thank you so much for all the hard work and planning that was put into this function.

I really love the Cloud Row changes.xDxDxD Having about 60 rows it's always taken a while to harvest them but now 2 or 3 clicks and I'm done. Thanks BP it was worth waiting for.xDxD

The new Cloud Row gets a big thumbs up from me. xDxDxD
I have 68 rows and being able to do them all with 2 clicks is so much easier. Having the choice to put the clouds that give 'buffs' into favourites is another plus. Well done BPxD

I love the cloud row harvester! With a few tweaks it could be one of my favorite features! Now just do that with the breeding process for fewer clicks and you will have fantastic normal farming as well as mini events.:)

Fantastic! After a long time of waiting that proposed additions could be made to the game, it has happened. Harvesting of Cloud Rows at the click of a button seemed a pipe-dream. To all the planners, computer boffins and the staff of BP a standing ovation. Must have been a mammoth task. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have proved nothing is impossible it just takes time.

I have been playing since 2010 and having seen the game evolve has been a long upward struggle and full of surprises. I am glad that I played all these years - only missed 6 days - and this new addition will let me carry on for a long, long time, just to see what new features you have in store for us.

    Thank you all.

I love the new ability to go straight to the market from Farmer Quests, but was surprised when I clicked on a similar plus sign in my spa (artisan village) only to be told I could buy 12 lemongrass for the extremely high price of 11 BB!

Thankfully, I was not half asleep and caught this before I hit "OK"... I could easily have just thought I needed to click it again to get to the market or some such.

I am hoping this is an error. I don't remember seeing this before. If this was there, it needs to be changed. We should be sent to the market, not asked for BB. IF BB is an option, it should be just that... an option. If you do want to keep the BB option, then there is no way that 11 BB should be the charge for 12 lemongrass. That is just way too high, any way you want to slice it.

    Cloud row harvester :inlove:

I mostly happy with the cloud row harvester :) It is very easy to harvest the progression and item rows with the harvester and the window showing the rewards is very nice. For the other rows the categories are quite convenient, but like many others I wish the rows marked as favorites would not be displayed in their respective categories as well.

It is great that it is now easier to see if a cloud row is ready or not, and how much time is left on those that are not ready :D However using the harvester I find I have lost an overview of when the cloud rows will be ready. Before I would take a look at the cloud rows as I went past them and see how long it was until a few more were ready. Now I have no idea since I don't go through the list of rows. What would be really great is a timer showing how long it is until the next cloud row is ready. For me that would make a big difference.

Some have suggested a sign on the magical stalk (seen from the map) signaling that rows are ready to be harvested. That is not all that useful to me, as I often leave some rows ready in order to use some bonus at the right time. A sign that is there almost all the time would just be annoying. What I would find awesome though is to put the information in the tooltip (of the magical stalk when you are in the map). Something like this:
The magical stalk: 8 cloud rows ready. New in 02:35h.
That would make the magical stalk even easier to use :inlove:

It is great that the harvest function is included in the monthly subscription without the price being raised. But I don't think the offer to buy 6hrs of the harvester for 3BB is good. This type of offer makes sense for the builder, many need the builder for a short time to rearrange their farm at start or end of events and can manage fine without it most of the time. But I would want to use the cloud row harvester all the time, so a 48hr offer would make more sense to me.

Dedicated MM field - what a great addition! No need to time things to finish in time for MM, no time to lift all animals/crops/trees to maximise space! I am really looking forward to this new field! BOO! xD

I really do Love the new cloud row harvester but....there needs to be just a few improvements.
When you add a row to your favorites it should remove it from the other categories. I have just harvested my Chestnut cloud row (again) by accident because of this.

I agree with -Mir85- post above. Some type of timer would be great! I found that I was loosing out on a lot of EP/BEP because of this. I now take the time to scroll through my rows checking for the next time to harvest. This really defeats some of the purpose of the harvester.

PS: Thanks for the MM field....it looks like it is going to be great :)

    Forgot to mention something :p

I really like the complete info about the cloud row bonus and cooldown time given in the tooltip description :D

Regarding the CR harvester, it's a great improvement in itself, that can be further improved, based on actual experience and usage patterns. Lots of great improvements are already in place. For me, the most important are: categorization (now fully operational since the Donkey breeding CR has been correctly categorized), detailed info on every CR and detailed remaining cooldown time.

As is, however, it's not at all enticing for me to buy the CR harvester service whenever I add time to the rest of the harvesters -I never buy the monthly subscription because it's more expensive-, simply because I end up needing it only once in a while -only when there are dozens of them ready in the categories there's no need to be careful about: EP/B-EP yielders and gift yielders- and am compelled to complement it with manual harvesting and careful avoidance of the CRs I don't need/want to harvest at a certain moment. When I feel I do need the harvester, I'm now using either a coupon (it has happened, so far, only 3 times) or I can buy it just for that use.

I especially agree with one suggestion Mir made: the tooltip as she described it to give an idea on when the next CR -not yet ready- will be available for harvest.

Regarding the favourites option, I could find no use to it, as it happens with the favourites option for crops, precisely because of the wide variety of CRs and their different purposes and effects. (Anyway, it wouldn't harm me if they disappear from the general lists once they are added to favourites as requested by many: they won't disappear for me.... LOL).

But I don't think accidental harvesting of a CR has anything to do with having it included in favourites or not. It'd be much better if we can LOCK a CR, any CR, so that we can harvest it only when we unlock it (unlocked should be the default state and it should remain so until we re-lock ourselves). Thus, accidental harvesting won't be possible for those CRs we choose to lock, like, for instance, it has just happened to JJenks with the Chestnut CR.
