Breeding- Reindeer & New Feature

• In the period from 11/12/15 to 17/12/15 there will again be a breeding-Based Event Quest - The animal will be Reindeer
• Also the new revised breeding menu is introduced.

I vaguely remember a breeding event involving Reindeer around Christmas time a few years back but I may be wrong ...

In the event that I am thinking of, we didn't actually use Reindeer (very rare and not many farmers would have had the numbers needed for breeding). Anyone else can add to my scatty memory?

 

Would BP have a breeding event with a RARE stable animal??? Doubtful!

Yes we just had the dog breeding event (1st rare animal) but BP made dog kennels available through the shop before hand. Very unlikely to happen again so soon. Peacocks are the only other mainland (purchasable with cc's) animal stable available without breeding ability.

More likely BP would introduce a new normal animal (like the geese) before breeding rare animals. The introduction of Neon pens in small batches gives BP a long term breeding plan that will keep us interested for the foreseeable future.

The reindeer are more probably giver items as rewards for the Christmas event, thou the new breeding menu seems like the real present!

 

I remember that too, Illy. At the time I didn't have enough pf to do the event and I think we were given so many event reindeer stables or something like that to breed the reindeer.

 

I also doubt we'll get a new breeding animal again so soon, but maybe we'll need colored fish and donkeys?

It was in december 2012 and we used lots of PF.
We had to buy with CC these boxes that gave 4 reindeers. We would use them, plus a special mill product to make the colored animales in the breeding house

 

My memory doesn't stretch that far back, Escalonilia, but it looks familiar. They are/were so cute. I remember thinking it was going to be tough but I think I finished it. Probably by the skin of my teeth!

Prices of reindeers have risen in the market.

 

I'm not sure what the fish, donkey or pig have to do with a xmas or reindeer event?

 

Brook I think it's @solotime having a good time in Christmas and maybe eating a pig. I couldn't include the donkey to the story.

 

Didn't Mary ride on a donkey to the stable, where Jesus was born on Christmas day.

Hoping that they release the reindeer stable to purchase with CC like dogs.
Also hoping not too much PF needed - pockets are low with the holidays no real$ to spend.
I like the more relaxed paced events we have had lately

There is also a rumour which says,
Breeding will be of donkeys and fish & reindeer which we get from our stable might not be bred.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not we will be using Reindeer for the upcoming breeding event? Fish and Donkeys as well? Oh my that really mixes things up a bit, where oh where did I ever get it into my head that we would need extra cows and sheep? lol

 

From the last pictures 12ss12 posted, it seems we might have an event reindeer breeding (not permanent colored reindeer). Reindeer prizes are up a lot in my market already. Guess we will know more tomorrow...

As I recall Previous Breeding Event Back in 2012 Called Reindeer Express 2012. As it gonna sound very similar to this Event as it does not need to consume Stocks of Reindeer From your Barns or Markets !!!

Back in 2012 There was Reindeer Surprise Bundle which Gives 4 Reindeer costing 75 CC per Bundle, Weather Requirement for this will be CC Only or Need Crops, Mill Feeds,Products,Event Crops to Produce this Bundle...??

Then their was Reindeer Surprise Deluxe costing 5 BB but gives you 20 Reindeer these Reindeer but is sound that we have to make Reindeer Feeds Event Kind of Reindeer Feeds Perhaps....

There is hardly any Reindeer is our Barns Nor in Circulation in our Markets Either since these are very Rare Animals There is no time to Buy Reindeer Stables and Grow Reindeer Even if they was made Available just like Dogs or Chameleons This is not going to Happen there i am on Hunch about these Reindeer Bundles Concept from Reindeer Express 2012 Event

Or if you recall When Cuckoo Breeding was Introduced, we had to Put out as Many Animals Stables in our Fields. So when we harvested our Animals Pens we started to Obtain Cuckoos. Build our Stock of Cuckoos which was needed for Occasional Cuckoo Breeding Event when became Permanent Breeding Animal. I am Guessing this is the alternative Method to be acquiring Reindeer using the Same Concept as Cuckoos

 

Thank you Mooboy and Mir. I agree, it would be crazy to think they expect us to use what little Reindeer we have already tried to make.... which is next to none lol. Cuckoo was crazy wasn't it and a lot of fun..... perhaps lol. I will hang onto those others for sure Mir.... thank you for the reminder. Am I losing it.... or am I just becoming forgetful.... I think I'm just too busy!
