I'm not seeing it. And I don't have time to go back and reread all the posts to try to decipher where you might have gotten that impression. I see a discussion of people sharing their various perspectives and playing styles and explaining why. Which I love. Not hearing any criticism or judgement.
Even it was/is... Who cares! You know you're smart and that your strategies work for you. That's all that's really important. I've learned it's a waste of my energy to worry about what others think of me etc. If they want to waste their energy hating someone or something that's their folly. And... only I can choose how I FEEL about something. It is folly to let someone else determine how I feel about something, etc. It's that free will thing.

Just for information, I just reached level 4 in my spa not so long ago, but I opened all the runes on Baha a few months ago. I ate a LOT of red punch and orange mango, then concentrated on opening shipwreck. I followed a lot of the advice given earlier in another thread, I think archived now -- either leveling up in Baha or Baha stategies.

At this point, I will occasionally buy or make an AM mask, but I have shifted to mainland priorities mostly since I already have everything opened in the monkey temple (everything except the last customer... not going to open that one!)

 

Woody, just out of curiosity, why will you not open the last customer? I haven't yet, and I'm wondering if there's any advantage in going ahead and opening it at some point.

I have the third baha customer. She asks for crops, trees and animals. The rewards are the same as for the second baha customer (comparing EV of the items requested). But the second baha customer only requests fruits and animals. Now animals are more expensive per EV than crops, so I would say the third customer is better than the second. There is quite often an order asking for only fruit, and those are always worth filling in my opinion.

If you do Farm Orders I would recommend to open it, but probably not as a high priority.

 

I was filling the baha customers for a while, particularly the tree orders, to get whatever BEP I could. Then I stopped filling the customer orders because I found that I got more from selling animals outright and buying either the ingredients or the craft product than from the orders. It basically depends on how much you are able to sell and the price of the various craft products. When I was filling orders, I would buy as much of the craft product I could up to a specific price. Then, if I could get more BEP from the order, I would fill it. Else, not.

I am now almost ready to level up my confectionery. I actually had others up first, but because I am both "eating" products AND milling a level 4 product constantly (plus of course its base product), I am far above the other trades in that... even florist and spa, which allow me to buy products that give trade EP. And... I have bought quite a few of all the "upgrade" products!

This was a bit of a surprise.

You are welcome. I should add one note to the above, though. It was not always a matter of the customer orders being cheaper. Sometimes, I would use what CC I had, then try to get what additional BEP I could from orders, rather than waiting for my crops or animals to sell. It really just depended. I found that only so many of the craft products were put up for sale sometimes and also, just got impatient. Not sure that adds anything, but figured I should at least mention that. I don't want to make it seem as if I were doing math everyday or anything.
