No reindeer in market

Is there any indication of when the breeding reindeer will show in the market?

The reindeers are not a permanent breeding animal and the feature will be locked once the event ends, so no breeding reindeers will appear in the market.

Yes, I would appreciate knowing what will happen to the coloured reindeer I've bred, after the event? If they cannot be sold and cannot be used to build coloured stalls, of what use are they?

 

not a mod, but in addition to being available for donations to the current event, they might be needed for future events. The pens and such will still be usable, as they have been (a rare pen up until now). How valuable that just depends on your opinion. There is some discussion in the strategy section on the cold event, if you are interested.

Only the basic reindeer is available in the market to sell/buy

I missed that point in the FAQ, and have been around long enough to know that eventually they may be of use (as with the dogs). Unfortunately, I put in too many reindeer than needed in the event, being rather entranced with the new breeding process. I finished the event early on the second day - having a lot of coloured fish and donkeys in hand, so found them surplus to requirements. You may close and thank you for your time.
