I'm enjoying the presents from each cookie! I don't often do events, but the gifts from each animal feeding made me give it a try.

Question: the Farmerama post/your post says 'ask your questions in Chat' - but Chat is gone isn't it? Or do you mean another Chat?

I am finding this event pretty enjoyable. I am high enough up that the large quantities are not an issue in most cases. If I wind up struggling this time, it will be because RL is busy. I did find the FAQs a tad more difficult than usual, but that might be as much because I am pretty preoccupied right now as because this event is a tad more complex than most. Still not an issue, particularly with all the help from folks in the Strategy section. I would say that perhaps the game team should clarify a bit better to mods what the requirements are, so there is not the multinational confusion over requirements. However, everything was straightened out before the event, and we all know you are all incredibly busy. (thank you for your time.. all of you!)

love love love this type of event. There is something to be gained for everyone, even if you are too busy to do the whole thing. the range of prizes is just lovely. The graphics are, as always, just outstanding. I love the little creatures down along the bottom of the screen. We're just at the start but it appears that the demands won't be too hard, and the drop rate seems good so far. Well done!

I really like this type of event too - the element of surprise along with predetermined prizes is great. All those lovely presents! :D

One thing I would like to see changed for future events is the amount of clicking for each gift. It would be better if when you clicked the animal, the present shows and then automatically opens. At the moment, it is necessary to click the animal, click the present (sometimes twice or three times before it registers) and then click to receive it. Two clicks is more than enough when you are talking nearly 300 presents - and more if you carry on after finishing the event. :wuerg:

Other than that, drops seem pretty good (hope that's not famous last words!), great graphics, good prizes and fun to do - and everyone can get something. :inlove:

  9. There is nothing about this event that can be criticised by a high-level player. It will be hard for those below a certain level, but it's a fun event and the prizes are well worth any effort. Best Christmas event for a long, long time.

Illy, try clicking the present at the top right hand corner, I found this remedy in a previous event where we had something similar (can't remember what); however, it only happens for me when they are at the base of the Farmerama screen. I've also had difficulty when harvesting single fields by hand, when the 'gift-givers' pop up at the bottom and I don't have anything to give them - I usually have to wait until whatever it is has gone. Hope this helps.

illy, if you wait long enough, the present will open itself. Just feed all the animals and wait.

Thank you all the little presents along the way with this event. It's so fun to get little surprises throughout the day while I'm farming.

Love this event, even though I find it tough because of RL, but I got the cloud row and two of the items to go onto it so far :D. Adore the idea of giving gifts to penguins, foxes and bears :inlove:. I hope these kind of ideas (getting small rewards for gifting ;)) will keep coming our way as it makes participating in events more enjoyable rather than just growing crops and waiting to have enough to finish a level ;);):p.

This is a good event type that benefits all farmers; with a nice mix of prizes. Very enjoyable!:)

I like this I event but I would like to suggest a few improvements.
I think there should be added a way of feeding one animal with all the food we have. Ex If we have 50 cookies we should be able to give them all by one click and recieve all the gifts by once. It takes so much time to wait for them to come out and it is also boring.
I would also like to have an option of turning off some animals from coming to our farms like we had the chance with cats, I think.

Overall I'm enjoying this event but there are two issues I have.

Too much clicking. With the first one having 150 prizes, that's 600 clicks... maybe next time decrease the amount of prizes and increase their value slightly.

The not so random factor hits again. I'm only up to 116 on the first one and have 30 prizes for the 500 cc and only 2 prizes for the wonder stables and 2 susie's super grow. I have zero of the sweet beak ep giver.

Out of 116 tries with 9 prizes being offered you would think you would hit every prize at least once.

    The good:
    - I really like this type of event, with little surprises along the way to the big goal
    - I like that you can continue to choose whcih animal to give gifts to / continue giving once the finala quest has been accomplished
    - The little animal animations are really cute
    - I like that there is a mix between farming, milling and gift giving
    - I like THE LIST of possible rewards

    The bad:
    - We've had this type of event before and it has been my absolute favourite (see reasons above) but this time around I feel like you've taken a great concept and made it worse. The tier system sounded good at first until I realised that I had to go through a million christmas cookies to even start getting good rewards (sooo much clicking....). That made the first part of the event really tedious and I didn't really get that lovely little thrill of opening a nice surprise, it was more like ...oh, another 500cc. yay. However, once over that hurdle, the event started being fun again.

    - Until I realised that the list of rewards in the FAQ was mostly fantasy. Especially in regards to Harvester Coupons. Like, they don't appear EVER. I looked through old lists of rewards that I wrote down during earlier events of this type, and in those 6-10% of the rewards consisted of harvester coupons. So far in this event, on two farms, 0% of rewards are harvester coupons. Since those are the most interesting rewards IMO, this event has been a real disappointment to me. Especially since there is so much clicking. After all that clicking, getting coupons would be nice so I could get some rest from it!

Anyways, it would bee good if you readjusted the rewards percentages back to how they were in earlier events, thank you.

    Happy Holidays!

I love this style of events. The prizes have been great so far.

BUT.... The drops. What is the deal with the drops here lately? I harvested all five fields (some had long term high EP crops), all of my trees, and all of my animal pens this morning. Guess how many drops I got? 40... That's it. 40. I'm on level 27 of my living legends rune, I'm level 82, one of my fields had spelt on it, and I had several high level pens/workshops out.

I think I'm going to stop participating in drop events for a while. BP seems to be making the drops impossible. I'm done growing everything needed. Just like the last event with drops, all I have left are drops. I'm waiting on a large amount still. This is beyond frustrating. Drops should not be what holds a player back from completing an event.
