In here, Tin foods and packed foods are not usual. It has found place only with a margin of the society. We cook food three times a day with vegetables, grams and rice and other grains. And more over the meal usually is vegetarian and even non-vegetarians consume meat only once or twice a week..during sundays or so....it would be fresh meat from the meat or fish shop. Tin and canned foods are still scorned upon here. The packed food I consume is only the chocolate bar, that too not regularly. Now even organic rice, vegetables, oils fresh from mill are becoming more and more popular (In villages people grow crops and get oil from them without treating them with chemicals or so - now we, the city people are trying to get these fresh from nature foods and also those that do not use chemical fertilizer).

I one thing I like about this game is that we use manure and not chemical fertilizer to grow crops.

I hate to say it, but eating fresh does not mean "no contamination". It may, however, mean less intrusive production (organic, particularly) and certainly means better overall nutrition -- though if you don't live in a climate that is conducive to growing veggies and fruit year round, decently packaged items can be a good alternative.

Let's see, there's a kangaroo mouse, a mouseketeer, space mouse, chef mouse (reminds me of the animated movie Ratatouille, tho I've never seen it), and maybe FrankenmousiexD (or lab mouse). Not sure what the other 3 would be.

Considering the short lifespan of a mouse, "elderly" just doesn't seem right. Elderly Elephant makes more sense to me! :)

Noelle, ummm, it's a game. Most of the breeding animals make no sense now anyway. ;) :p

Especially if they decide to take up residence in my garage -.-xD. We have three owls that hang out in the general vicinity of our house, they have done a wonderful job of curtailing the once-thriving mouse population in our hedge:inlove:, far more than the neighborhood cats have done.:sleepy:

My Grandpa, who lived on a farm, found that to get good cat mousers, you can't feed them. They need to get their food from the mice they kill.

If the cats around here depended on mice to eat, they'd starve to death:p. Too fat and lazy to do anything for themselvesxD.

I have an indoor cat that gets fed free choice dry food. She is a great mouser. :)

My neighbor has several well fed cats that also hunt ground squirrels.

Noelle I have a cat that goes in and out and she is fed food everyday too
but she still goes out to play with field mice everyday.
She doesn't eat them though. She just wants to play with them lol
I don't think the mice enjoy the play very much. Sometimes I feel bad for the mice!

We used to have a lab mix dog when I was a teen, she loved to go out in the back yard in the winter and chase mice under the snow. You could always tell when she was on to one, because she'd stand there with snow up to her belly (we lived in the mountains), with her head tilted and her tail wagging slowly, but otherwise stock still. She could hear them running under the snow, and when the time was right, she'd pouncexD. It was so funny to watch. I don't remember her catching any, but she sure had a knack for finding the dead ones and rolling in them.:wuerg:

Funny you should mention that dog, spots. We used to have a lab mix (more coondog than lab, her howl /bark was funny) when my kids were little. Sheba was her name. She could spend hours in the fields "listening" for those mice and would dive nose first into the snow and come up with a mouse. xD I always said she was my good mouserxDxDxD
