This is one of the few times so far in this game where it's good to be in a later time zone. It was so nice to log on this morning and find that the math had already been done. Many thanks to the math wizards, you make life so much easier.:inlove::music::p

Looking forward to an event using spooky crops!

Well said Shiny.Sparkle, without that gray matter help this would not be fun!
Combo of gossip aid and Strategy, makes play really playing!
I will be on cloud 10 for a week, all MM, all:inlove: bat :inlove:fun!

And it's nice, since using CAC, anyway a great time to boost crops out side MM after growing event plant.

I am looking at the 10 CAC I will have to eat and I'm thinking 1 WI I really need to work on my artisan things, ok on CAC and the wi but them terror B that's a pinch.

I will be using the 3 Mainland fields and Baha (I am saving my Rainforest ;))
That way by using Mooboy's Event Nuking Seed Strategy I will be needing 6.22 harvests of the Event Crop using CAC to get the required 14,500 Arcane Sunflowers.

Now to map out my extended MM crops to finish one last Quest and perhaps open up Crow Breeding.

Since this is a busy RL week for me, I will be using all Mainland and Baha fields to get finished. Have great hopes of completing two moonlight FSQ items that have been hanging around way too long.:wuerg: Hope you get the crow breeding Banjo!:)
:DThanks to all doing the great event calculations! Best of luck to everyone in completing your goals for this extended MM event!

Wow, I barely feel able to post here at a bare level 54/26. (I've only been on Farmerama for a month now, so please be patient). I've got the three main fields open completely, and all but the last zone on Baha's Plantation level. I don't have the rainforest yet. So, it's a 6-hour crop-- that means it takes how long to grow the crop with water and manure only (I only have so much SG)? I'm really hopeful I can somehow fit in 5 rounds a day somehow.

gaura with water & manure, arcane sunflowers will be 4 hours 33 mins without the Growth Boost Rune. With the Rune it's 4 hours 19 mins. Hope you win lots of SG & SSG from the farmwheel during the event.

12 terror bouquets, wow!o_O I can make them here on spots, only had 7, so have another 5 going, plus bought 5 to gift to my lowest level neighbors:), so should be okay on this farm. bearbabe didn't have any, so had to buy all 12 at 80,000 + for each:eek::cry:. Good thing mouse sales were so good;). (I typed this about 10 hours ago, came home from shopping trip to town and discovered I forgot to post it:pxD.)

Don't worry about being new, gaura, everyone was new at one point ;). You don't have to use SG for the entire event. Many of us only use it at the beginning, to get enough seeds to cover all fields we will be using in the shortest amount of time possible. My personal strategy for events is to use 1x2 plots on one field at first, make sure to eat CAC, white innocence and fruit cake before plant (and put a Pinkie Pie Pie on to maximize buff time. Pumpkin Jam can be used instead of CAC), also activate any relevant cloud rows (flower cloud row and chestnut row if you have them), then plant my 10 seeds in the 1x2s, water, manure, SG & SSG them. Harvest, repeat. I can usually get enough seeds to plant all my fields within 2 or 3 harvests of that one field, at which point I switch to 1x1s. For limited SG & SSG, maybe only nuke the first round, which would cost 10 SG. If using the SSG as well, you'll get 70 seeds from that, so if you had enough super grow and Suzy's, you could nuke 2 rounds for 80 SG & 80 SSG, giving you a good start of 490 seeds.

At last I have managed to access the Forum, sort out the SOS and Guidelines thread and can concentrate on strategy. :p

Chevrefeuille had to giggle at this - the only reason "we" posted was cos the sums were pretty simple - and we still got it wrong. Thanks to Teddy's quick interception, not too many farmers were led astray! :music:

This farm and Chevrefeuille are going to attempt to use just the island fields. They were full of trees and easier to put back after. I will be planting MM crops that suit which FSQs I'm working on and the longest ones overnight. It all depends on how the drops fall. I had forgotten about the Terror Bouquets but I have some on each farm - will use them to best advantage. Only working tomorrow afternoon and the weekend (early shifts so better in a way!). :)

Now Baby Farm wants to play again. This farm has all the normal crops it needs and has opened up most of the island, all of the glade and will plant the event crops in every available spot. Not sure if it will finish but it will have fun trying! xD

    Good luck everybody! BOO! :inlove:

Only the MM event timer is showing, not the Spring Cleaning timer. Must be some problems starting the event.

Moonlight Mania has started. But what happened to Spring Cleaning ? It shoud have started at 14.00 CET. Its now 14.20
Waiting for the event to start. May be that's why there is no drops.

I had trouble loading the forum for 5 mins or so. Now its O.K

I forget to look at timer first, when see MM field open, I thought event start.
So, I harvest my MM crop, no drops, then check the timer. Ok no sight of event.
start at last, delay 25 min, I lost my first harvest drop >:(

I think its a error on the part of Farmerama. Not ours. So don't trouble yourselves. The event was scheduled to start at 14.00 CET. So let's wait for any announcement regarding this.

I wanted to start the event with planting event crops but they weren't there. I thought: no crops .. no widgets either = no MM harvest!
After several refreshes and a 20 minutes wait those crops finally showed up. Planted those and harvested MM field. Got 28 widgets. I think everyone will get enough widgets to complete the Event.

PS. It sure was a scary start!
