Spring Cleaning Event Strategy

I am such a ninny!!! After reading about the late start and pinkie pie issues, I was soo careful to check both out before harvesting anything. So far so good... then brain shut down and I planted the 10 event crops on 1x1 instead of 2x2. And to think I was happy that I got an early start today.

But still plenty of time and not too many crops to grow - you'll make up for the mistake in no time. If you need a hand with anything give us a shout.

Drops seem like they should be good. I have been getting an average of 10 for a field of Bonetrees and just got 16 on my last harvest.
Poppyseed, Good to see you I ran some Killer tomatoes also and got the same results.
Mooboy, It is a bug with the Pinkie Pie. To use it you have to go to your Deco tab under consumables...you can use it there.

I thought you were supposed to get one widget from each Tentacle willow. I just harvested four of them and only got one widget.

Doc, I think it's the magic trees that you get 1 widget. Tentacle trees seem to be like other trees in main fields and baha-drops are random. You may or may not get one from a tree. I have just made my 4th ghost trap and have 18 widgets towards the 5th trap I think I will enjoy this event but the only negative for me is harvesting 6 fields of 1x1's by hand But I will grin and bear it I meant to comment that my 2 boys and daughter were the perfect age when Ghostbusters came out so I had ghosthunters equipped with the backpack things, the traps, and the ambulance and probably everything else that was sold in the market. What fun times those were!!

 

ok I have another question if I use all 1x2s on 5 fields how many harvests would it take to get to 14,500 event crops? how about if I use all1x1s how many harvests will that take?

Instead of sowing the event crop on the main farm, I sowed corn. Now, what I was thinking ?

 

Despite a very busy RL day and a later start on the event, I have progressed well - four traps made and five rooms cleaned. Drops are respectable. Hope everyone is moving along smoothly

My Spooky Widgets have been very different on all farms, though I can't remember what I have harvested to get these drops. This farm has 49, Chevrefeuille has a whacking 107 and the latest addition (even though I used this one to experiment if we were getting drops - and we weren't!) has got 44. After less than 24 hours, I am very happy with these results.

 

Followed most logic path for the CR and givers....Me on Cloud 9

I'm going to get all the flowers and drops before doing the quest. I don't think I will lose anything by doing it this way but please tell me if I'm wrong. I have 7528 flowers + 4 fields in progress and 180 drops. Good luck everyone, I hope you get plenty of drops.

12ss12 I'm glad to see I'm not alone, when it comes to do doing daft things.

 

I have rooms 1, 2, 5, 6, 13, 14, 15, 19 and 20 left. I have one ghost trap left and need four more.

 

Yesterday morning I was able to get 38 spooky widget with Black bat flower and all my trees.
Was very happy with that. Will continue to use Black bat flowers as I still need to finish
Clean for a Spell.

My metre reading says I have finished 65%. Wish I get all the drops soon. So that I might start stocking up mt MM crops.
