Longer MM

I would love to have a longer MM, Great suggestion Ming. When the new playing field was announced I couldn't wait to see and use it.
It is a wonderful addition only wish I could utilize it better. My MM quests are so far behind as the MM timing never seems to coincide with rl free time so I have lost my drive to get ahead where the spooky quests are concerned. A longer MM would be very helpful towards completing some long time MM goals.
-shimmer I do like your suggestion as well, not sure if it would be easier or not to implement or if it would cause negative effects should a player chose to work the mm say if other events were live at the same time. If it could be done it would allow better rl scheduling for some players.

 

I did it again...i still haven't been able to get enough for a couple things from jacks and its been two months now.. we have a small field and i have to sleep and play with my kids some.

 

I agree with the 48h suggestion, I feel like I'm not making any progress at all on my MM quests...
Or at least make it always a weekend event for those of us who are at work and can't log on for a large part of it - especially as comfort fields aren't possible on the new MM area

 

I agree as well especially since we have so many quests for moonlight mania and no time at all to get the done.

 

This week we do! A WEEKlong MM! whoohoo!
And although we would love a permanently longer Moonlight mania, this will do fine for now!

 

Two things with MM,
(1) in the Farmer's Society add a tab for the MM events, just like Open, Normal, Breeding, and Finished.
(2) Allow purchase of MM open field time like vacation time (so many hrs for growing time).

Then still have 48 hrs or more of mini event time for MM monthly.

 

Has anyone noticed that the weeder is disabled in the MM field? You don't need comfort fields because YOU CAN'T GET WEEDS in the MM field.

Another option instead of a tab for MM in the Farmer's Society, is to sort for MM just like you can for Tropical quests.

 

I like that sometimes we have extended MM because if it is only 24 hours it is difficult to harvest many times. But I wouldn't like one week of MM because I don't complete MM quests so I don't need a lot of crops.

 

Yes I know we can't get weeds in the MM field - but the other thing about comfort fields is that they give larger harvests. Very useful for people who can't log on every 2 hours when their crop has finished growing!!

 

would love to see a regular (every other month?) 36-hour MM...I am many hours behind CET in Midwest USA, and those few extra hours would help me to grow & harvest crops within the time frame but not in the middle of my night...thanks

I agree with alot of the comments here and would like to add the possibility of comfort fields being able to be places on the moonlight field. With using water, sg and manure, it would make it alot easier to get through some of the moonlight quests. I have so many open that it has taken me a year and a half to make any real progress.

 

I would also like to ask for longer MM time. This was my first MM, and there is so much to work on, I feel like I'm ending this mini-event with nothing accomplished. Those longer grow crops, with only one field to plant them on, makes larger yields difficult. Giving us more time would correct for that somewhat.

 

I am still trying to build up my crops to do the FSQ's. for me, 48 hours should be the minimum. while the weekends are no good for me, at least with the longer event option, I could still get some crops grown. I too need to get the bat and crow option purchased. there is also the breeding to consider.

This is one suggestion to which the team has listened. We are now having longer mania more often. They still are a bit rare, but that is by design. If you were able to do everything quickly, then the challenge would be gone.

In the meantime, you might have more luck during the next G & T. Bats were hard to come by this time because of the new neon pens.
