I finally put out my wonder stables and I got: 1 Orange Donkey stable, 1 Frog Pond, and a Hedgehog stall. The ironic thing is during the last breeding event one of the things I focused on was getting 2 orange donkey stables. Now I have 3 of them. You can either look at it as BP has a good sense of humor, or somebody upstairs has a good sense of humor. Either way, I got a good chuckle out of it.

 

Haven't put my stables out yet ....know I shall be disappointed ...very rarely get anything good A swan or an Otter would be nice ...but am not holding my breath

 

I got a Chameleon II, Ostrich II, and a hedgehog...

 

I can't believe it, I join MARLYMAR and 12ss12 . . . I got a Swan!!!!!! I got them from the stables appropriately named Cygnus. I love getting my first stable of something, it feels like I struck gold or something.

I finished yesterday morning. I had torn apart the farm. I really don't mind doing that once a month. It allows me to take stock of trees & animals I need to focus on. "Out with old & in with the new". So appropriate for a Spring Cleaning event.
Good luck to those still chugging along...I hope you trap all those ghosts in no time!

 

Can I join your Swan dance too @12ss12 ? Got my 1st Swan & 3rd Armadillo for cleaning out those ghosties!

 

Got my 4th swan, 22nd frog and a yellow something-or-other. But, hey, they were free - that's great for free

I got an otter last time (or was it the time before??? -- lol), so I cannot really complain, but the only halfway decent thing I got this time, out of 15 pens, was a yellow bear pen.

 

LOL Woody ..Actually don't mind getting doubles triples stables...the beauty of that is... they help In stocking up
BUT every now and then would be nice for us to get something different

Have got Howie Do nothings looking after them ...they don't seem to do much with drops ...so am trying them out with these stables lol

I am not afraid to stick my neck out Thanks for the explanation. I too, browsed and found out the meaning . So far I had heard of only bulls and bears. That's in stock market. Market Giraffe is a new term to me. Thanks for enlightening me.

You are partially right in your observations.
I have no concrete plans for markets. I do both types of selling. Both at saleable price and at high level pricing. I do not take risks for those items which I decide must be cashed immediately and profited. Like animals during breeding events or items for recent FSQs. They should be sold within few mins or if there is a sudden fall, within one day.

Usually the items I place high are that which I have bought at a very very low price and are then hot selling items in the market. I do not mind if they are sold or returned back to my barn. (Some items (not hot selling items) I do not care if they are sold or not. There is no harm in trying ). The loss to me is just 10% which I can afford at that time. For instance in this event I bought 1000s of Lily of Valley at very cheap price and when the market was hot for it, I sold them at double the price(that's I priced them very high as the market was very fast moving). I sold most of it too and now only 3 offers of it has been left out and I don't mind if they are returned back to my barn. I have made profits already out of it. More over if they are returned back to my stock and I needn't grow them.

Do you remember the time when apples atlast picked up their price. I bought 1000s of apples just when the price started rising. Sold most of them and used the remaining/returned back to mill feeds which served multiple purposes.

I do not buy items if I do not have uses for them even if they are lesser priced then the second offer. (I try to produce items myself for stocking up my stocks). Why waste your CCs ? I know its contradictory to my above observation in 2nd para. But there I learn in & out - of markets etc etc... - that's an well paying experience.

And I know you would knew me inside out and as a matter of fact you will know anyone, who is active in the forum, inside out. You are very observant and can derive conclusions. I should thank you for being my Market Mentor.
