Special Delivery Strategy Thread

Once again our mathematical genii (?) have deserted us (well, me) so I feel compelled to have a stab at the figures. Here goes nothing!

Requirements:

43 breedings/86 PF

32 Chickens
28 Goats
28 Ducks
28 Turkeys
28 Lambs
28 Pigs

Tree Branches (222)
Rayons (108 for Diapers, 3 for Cake - Total 111)
36 Diapers
1 Diaper Cake (not really sure I want to try this one! )

925 Wheat
725 Carrots
830 Oats
1250 Sunflowers
1300 Celery
1950 Potatoes
2150 Corn
1800 Strawberries
100 Apples

On first sight, this doesn't look too bad. Hope Teddy is about to spare my blushes if I have got it really wrong ... again!

Now, I seem to have struck lucky this time - drops will come from all five fields but only from trees. What have I just converted four fields on this farm and three on Chevrefeuille? Wahoo! Trees! Even planted Strawberries on this farm over the weekend to finish off my CAC!

Now if we could only have Baby Boomer event lasting six days, my wish list would have been fulfilled! a

 

I'm assuming the 1 x Mountain Juniper is a tree and not fruit.
No Cloud Row???

Yes, Mountain Juniper is the tree. The fruit is Juniper berry.

 

This event looks very reasonable especially with so much PF being returned as prizes, plus I really will be very glad to get a mountain juniper on BW since I don't have one at all on that farm. Putting out trees for the drops is nice too. I have a busy week in RL and minimal tending to the farm is perfect. Now...do we wait to see if there will be a baby boom or are farmers planning on getting this one knocked out early? I will collect my drops, mill the products and wait for a Baby boom.

 

I've got the animals in the breeding shack, waiting to see if I'm impatient or patient.

illy, you're numbers look good, they match what I got.

I just hope the drops are generous, I would hate to have to carpet my farm in trees.

All Farmers need to have All Trees in All Fields to get Drops of Tree Branches Total of 222 Tree Branches

• 24 Diapers (24 x 3 Rayon = 72 Rayon (144 Tree Branches
• 1 Diaper Cake (12 x 3 Rayon = (36 Rayon, + 3 Rayon = 78 Tree Branches)
• Total of 222 Tree Branches
• Have to Consume 86 Power Feeds to Get All Needed Baby Breeding Animals ( We get back 70 Power Feeds from This Event)

I have Planted All Trees on My Farm Ready for Tomorrow. We shall see how many Tree Branches we will be getting ? Thank God Now Cloud Row this Time Just going to be an ok for Me Event

 

Just now converted 3/4th of baha & rain forest into trees. The rest 1/4th and all the main farms are full of animals. Depending on the drop rate, if necessary I might convert others to trees tomorrow.

Thank you illy and all the other smart people who have been summarizing the event data for us these past few events.

One thing that has been missing, although it really doesn't apply to this event, is the link to the post about the best strategy for events requiring the growth of an event crop and maximizing drops. I know, most of us who have been around awhile know this strategy and have the post bookmarked, but we have some new farmers who may not be familiar with it.

Like I said, It doesn't apply to this event, but it would be nice to start including that link in the other events. I've recently added some new younger farmers who had never heard of it.

Once again, thank you illy for doing all the hard work for us.

 

looking through the FAQ, I have just noticed, the harvesters are NO coupons. So be careful at the time of your donation. It is pretty annoying to realize to have an active harvester right before bedtime.

Why do you think we need to have All trees out on all fields having 6 days to complete the event and only need 222 drops?
That is 37 each day. Isn't that a bit of an overkill?
Well, we will have to see about the drop rate.

I am running animals all over. I will only put up trees in the Rain forest and see how it goes.
And I will sell the crops at nice overprices starting some hours ago
Animals went up for a short while in my mkt and now down again - I see why with the little number needed to complete. I guess every farmer are able to produce them even if they have none to start with.

Thanks illy for providing the numbers again. Stop thinking of yourself as "mathematical challenged", you are doing a stellar job every time!

I turned my whole farm into an orchard as soon as I read the FAQs. Want do be done with the event asap as I'm off gallivanting this weekend. Fingers and paws crossed over here for great drops and skips for everyone

 

I noticed that too, Dienstag. Will make sure to donate chickens when I'm going to be on for a bit, probably over the weekend. At least the turkey donation gets a coupon, at the rate I've been burning them up this last week, I'll take all I can get . Think this might be a good time to put out all the mystery seedlings I've been saving, double my fun by getting drops and maybe some new trees.

My mind's muddled with this stupid cold, we should turn off the auto harvester now, right? (using trees only for drops would explain all the tree fertilizer we got thrown at us by the Monkey Queen)

Have done the same Clashstrumm ..will at least fill our fruit stock if nothing else

 

It's probably overkill but I couldn't resist the urge to drag out all my trees from storage. My glade and rainforest are a tree heavy mix of trees and stables normally and those I didn't change at all. I completely filled the Baha mainland and my meadow on the main farm. On my main farm field I currently have it filled with chickens and filled in with apple trees. Depending on the drop rate I can easily convert those fields back to crops.
