The farm completed the event yesterday. Stable results were: one kingfisher, one angora, one yellow donkey, two chameleon, and one dove.

Carrots and apples and potatoes are still being sold at lower prices as many are completing the event. Price increases have turned to turkey, pig, and horse. There has been sporatic price increases for beaver. Goat and sheep are everywhere. (Goat in this barn exceed 31.5k. This is way too heavy to meet an event call. Feed price has fallen and continuing to do so with no end to supply in sight. The combination of goat and relate feed falls makes me remember the survey asking for our opinions of animals used in feed to balance feed. Just a fleeting thought.)

Chamelions have been given away through fuzzles, pens including upgrades have been given away, noticed I received twotwo orange stables, I believe level 70 was required when introduced so that alone elimentated some when breeding was introduced, player levels have increased with easy acquisition of ep from various sources, the chamelion is not very profitable to produce if purchasing crops to produce the feed or buying the feed, there is no neon stable and price has edged up. Acquisition has been steady here and barn supply alone indicates to me that event activity is nearing but there is time.

Sure, water will be allowed. I agree that a separate thread should be used and is appropriate.

All long time players will agree that trophy max is important in order to obtain drops needed for events and the rate of drops received will add to the strategy one must use. I personally do not wish to hurt a newbie in the game. We all would like to motivate and help newbies to join us. More strategy than appears will be necessary.

I believe all will agree that such a competition should not be structured in order to hurt BP in anyway and this includes their potntial revenue stream from baskets which do typically include drop items. This competition will introduce an aspect which BP has not and will require even more strategy.

 

I agree with you CylentLea that the competition would be equal to all if that could be done. It cannot though, because once you have placed the trophies in the tree of wisdom they cannot be removed from there again.

I am so exited about this competition. I can hardly wait!

I finally finished the event today and got a red pig stable which I am very happy about - I like red stables

 

I do not want to participate in Broke's challenge just to experience what hurdles a Newbie might face when doing an Event. I've been there and feel I deserve to have gotten where I am now, after years of devoted playing.

But I still remember the frustration I felt and are now willing to help anyone struggling to finish an Event whichever way I can.

I will do it just because it's a challenge! Unfortunately most Events aren't that challenging anymore, if you have the time, so I reckon it'll put a new and welcomed twist on things.

Dear Broke - I will pass on the competition; despite the offer of the delicious bread roll. I still remember the awful time as a newbie, when the thought of finishing an event seemed an impossible dream, and even water was a major expense! Though I would like to do it as a challenge,my RL work situation might mean forfeiting an event if I participated. This event alone I missed nearly two days of harvest with RL issues. Congrats to any wishing to take it on!

Down to my last two tasks, with only final milling to do. Will have lots of compass drops left - what an abundance of drops this time!

Made my last three maps and boom, event is completely done. Yay!!!! I have placed out my pens and my trees and we will see what shall appear for my beautiful farm. Good luck and Broke, as I work many hours every week, I squeak by as it is.... I don't know if I can complete this event without CAC.... So I may have to duck out of your challenge.

 

Just harvested my trees - got 2xxl maple, xxl walnut and a yellow trumpet , the rest were all xl rowan and xl medlar .
The stables were equally unimpressive with 2 frogs, hedgehog, wolf, kiwi and can't remember the last one. Free to a good home next G n T I think.

I'm glad I gave in and did this event. I know, I'm weak and my FOCD completely overcame me, but with so many drops falling on my head I just couldn't hold out.
I haven't put out any of my trees, or stables yet, as I'm taking advantage of having the harvesters and selling potatoes plus adding to my barn stock.

Opened my stables and trees and not impressed at all, in fact ..... I'm horrified that I get the same almost every event that has stable as prizes.... If I get another hedgehog or stork pen I'm going to scream..... Did I say hedgehog? Oh my word. Trees, I did get two Sea Buckthorn trees and a black willow (although I already have many of them, I like them), the rest were all older trees that I've got dozens of.... what can I say? Just disappointed and I too will be looking to give away some of these to someone who really needs them.

 

Alas, this post is two days late. But, RL has a way of getting in the way of proper gaming.

My wife finished the event two days ago in the AM. I finished the event two days ago in the PM.

Among other things she got a yellow trumpet tree and several stable upgrades she hadn't had yet.

I received a number of rare trees that I already had one of, but was happy to get more of them. Stables I can remember a swan and a couple of upgrades for others I'm happy with.

All in all Both the wife and I enjoyed the relaxed pace of this event.

 

I finished this event yesterday afternoon! I found it to be fun and the prizes for me were very good! I love the cloud row and the chance to get the extra givers which I put on my newly opened shipwreck bay II. And the Zepplin flying around there is pretty nice.
As for the stables, nothing to mention , and the Yukon trees the same thing But I did get an Achacha, grapefruit and nectarine and a Mangosteen! in Baha, so I guess I did alright! Good Luck to all those who are finishing up, have Fun and Happy Farming!

 

Sold all my carrots and have just 126 left. So I will go and buy another 100 and start from scratch once again not for selling but for stocking up for animal feed milling.

Playing one farm is very tiring for me. I do my second only if i have finished first one quickly and event is easy to finish. I might try Broke's challenge only on my 3rd farm (if I progress my first one without any stress) which is a struggling one and by all means it can only do the event in broke's way as it does not have any modern facilities and no CCs, LL rune, rainforest and stocks etc. This event it won the reward of one Party spin.
