Yeah alot of choices when harvesting the beanstalk, how about one more?
No machine harvest, only by hand.
It will not matter if you hit harvest all, the type, nothing only by hand will work.
I as one that will never use all the choices but really just want one.
This way I can throw all my only activate when needed rows in and hit harvest all to the rest.
    Would be nice.

Good idea, similar to one I already suggested. Whether preparing for events, or just wanting to wait for a particular time, it would be nice to be able to skip some rows. Breeding rows, moonlight mania rows, drop increase row, etc, etc..... I now have over 80 rows. Its hard to manually harvest them all, but clicking the auto-harvester means I cannot set aside some rows.

In the meantime, I have all of my non-buff rows (the straight EP/CC/item givers) set as favorites. I can auto-harvest all of them and then leave the rest as an event approaches.

Woody are you saying that by placing certain rows in your "Favortites" that the other rows are left out of the automatic harvest when you click on the harvester? Really? If that's what you're saying, I can save my tree buffs for when the trees mature.

It will harvest per category. so if you are on favorite, it will only harvest favorite.
I have ALL cloudrows in the favorites, except the two +% for tropical and normal trees, and the moonlight faster crops row.

that way, those tree only harvest when I want them to

That's a great idea @farmingfreebird - one that I am about to steal! I harvested by section using the harvester and found that even though I had rows stored as favourites they still got harvested even though I hadn't harvested favourites just e.g. animals (most annoying). Usually I harvest a section by hand if it has a row I don't want to trigger.
I do like the idea of a no harvest row though.

I use the harvester for all the "Progression" rows, then the "Item" rows. After that, I check the few pages of "Other", "Animal" and "Plant" which I may use the harvester or hand. Of course, when I'm out of harvester, I do them all by hand but still by category. I no longer use the "Favorite" category although I did at first. I do like that I will (when I have time) be able to sort the "Progression" rows to move all those rows I'm not buying down to the bottom.

No, but as several have already pointed out, this allows me to just harvest the favorites and wait to harvest those in the categories.

I have asked for and would like another self-selecting category, or at least to have the scarecrow and breeding rows moved to the miscellaneous category so that I know everything in the animal and crop categories are just buffs for all (or all tropical) animals/crops and or trees.

Woody, I'm sorry to be quite this dense. I've never really given much thought to placing individual Cloud Rows in separate sections. As I receive a new Cloud Row I mark it as a favorite. So when I log in to collect said Rows "All" is selected and everything that is ready gets collected.

Now I see a certain advantage to having separated Cloud Rows into related groups. In this way I can save certain buffs for maximum effect.

In order to attain this maximum effectiveness, I need to check the individual group that is ready for harvest instead of "All". Will that be the correct proceedure?

I think you've got it, sirpippen. All your rows are already placed in the separate categories. All you need to do is use the categories. :)

Yes. (oops.. first misread and said "no", but you do have it correct )
If you click on the group, everything in that group that is ready will be harvested. I get around this, sort of, by having all my straight givers (those that are not buffs) as favorites. I automatically harvest them whenever even one is ready. I tend to harvest the crop/tree and animal buffs in the morning, when I generally have the most ready to go. This, unfortunately, includes the breeding and scarecrow rows. I tend to harvest the miscellaneous rows by hand, unless I am in a hurry. I wish we had another self-select row (or "do not harvest row") where I could put the "odd" ones -- the breeding row, the moonlight rows, etc, so its easier to save them. Or, at least have those items moved to the miscellaneous category, but I made that suggestion earlier and it did not seem too popular (wasn't unpopular, just not that popular).

So if I understood correctly does the harvester only harvest your favorites? How do you do that?

bij making sure I've selected that category on the left, so when that's "on" you can click harvest, and it will only harvest the category you are in at that point. At least for favorites that works for sure. The rest I haven't tried.

Yes, it works for any of the categories. You can just harvest your crop buffs, just misc, etc.

I am not sure, however, that it would work as an exclusion. That is, if you click on the favorites, it will only harvest those you have selected as favorites, but if you click the individual categories, I believe that it will harvest everything in that category that is ready, including those you have selected as favorites.

The suggestion above would allow us to set aside some rows that we might not want harvested immediately. This might include buffs that impact trees in preparation for an event, the special moonlight crop row, or any others.
