Firefly Jamboree Strategy

Well, if it could be done wrong, even with all the wonderful suggestions here, I have done it. I even printed the chart so I had a 'cheat sheet' in front of me. Unfortunately, I lit the wrong lantern and messed up the pattern, or did light the right lantern but in the wrong order and messed up the pattern. I also looked at a pattern for a different level than the one I was on and couldn't imagine why my crop amounts were off. I also 'remembered' that I planted glowberries overnight, but was so tired last night that I didn't carefully check the farm one last time. I have no idea if I planted glowberries or if the system just didn't 'take' but when I went to harvest Baha, all that was there was dirt. I hope I can still turn it around and finish but now I don't even know if that is possible. I am not sure why there is so much confusion on my end but there is. Now I need to sit down and try to figure out what I can get done in the time that is left.

oh, poor PNP,
you know, each time I lit the lantern, I check 3 times before I lit it.
1st time, click all lantern that I will lit, estimate if I got enough 4 hr junk, 8 hr junk
next, what kind of drop need in this pattern, at the same time, look at my drop qty.
then, any backpack involved? how my stock of backpack.
2nd time, check again with take a look to see if those "unlit lantern" prize is attractive,
also to see if I would change another pattern. (usually not)
3rd time, start lit lantern, look carefully the no that I want to lit.. then wait at least 3 second to
make sure I had lit it up before move to next lantern.
Always take a look at your pattern to see any mistake. I'm luck that I found I had not lit one
lantern before I lit the final one.
When lit the final lantern, the pop up ask you if you are sure, close the pop up, take a final look
before you confirm it..

Yes, I do each level slowly, also when I'm not in hurry...
Mistake always happen when you are in hurry, when your brain are tired

I also made a mistake in the second level but fortunatelly I could "correct it" by chosing another combination.
Usually mistakes happen in a hurry so I also check a lot of times like dnin21cent before I lit a candle.

 

Thank you for your suggestions. I wasn't in a hurry, but I am tired. I did check/double check/triple check, but information is not staying in my short term memory, and so by the time I check the whole 16 lanterns to determine which ones to light, I have forgotten what I want to open and its location. It is the reason I printed the chart to help me keep track. I just am struggling but it is against myself and not the event.

with the charts iam on for seconds at chart 3 have now 70 starcoins by the end off today ill have the cloudrow hopefully

pnp, we all have days like that. I forgot my CAC this morning.

 

I drew a little diagram for each level as Farmer Broke suggested and filled in the numbers of the lanterns I wanted to light, all except the last one I wanted to light where I drew a big circle in the square without a number. On the side of each diagram I wrote the requirements it took to fill it. This helped to double check the lanterns as I clicked them and also helped to keep a tally on the requirements I still needed to finish the event. Good luck and happy farming to all!!

 

LOL Mir, glad I'm not the only one. I don't see the point in the stickers but having got the CR and PF I discovered I had 1 coin left, so I cashed it in for the sticker .

 

Just under 3 days left. My big boxes are drawn and that's it. Time to spend 10 minutes with the faqs and the boxes and get some idea. There is definitely no hurry hurry for this farm and the drop exploitation method I'm using will not allow efficient use by submitting quickly. All under control. Drop still vary with 20 of one another. I would rather it be 40 but I'll deal with it.

--- The noobie farm, now just over 5 weeks old, did part of level one without growing anything. It took the pf and a few coins and the freebie profits from items and that's it. The farm is now a living legend at 5 weeks. A little more on the trophies and it'll be ready to work grow based events at level 64. One track of land needed on BAHA but that wouldn't stop it from working a difficult event completely. BAHA may be level 53.......not sure.

Some are stopping the event. Good! A nice experimental event for BP.

If one has stopped the event, try and remember to submit as much of the excess as possible. Drops will still accumulate even though one has stopped actively working a plan. Submitting the excess in a game one does not plan to complete will get a farm more than with the exchange at the end of the game.

 

Now in the 5th board. Will continue tomorrow.

I earned 40 coins so I am half way there!

 

My CR is up and running. I need a few more drops to finish gathering some more extra goodies I want then I will be finished.
My baby farm is running behind....made the mistake of harvesting without my CAC one more round of crops and I should be able to finish there.

With the plain start I had <all resources are MM resources!> I tried a new way.... I will get the CR on both farms, but never again, the old way of get it done as fast as I can is the best in my eyes, I could have been grown extra crops now getting extra goodies. Live and learn.

 

finished ten level, now re-start again.
I won't do all 10 level second time.
After got the CR, then some good prize will end this event.

 

last night collected the cloudrow so just some more starcoins for some extras

then finishing off and rebuild the farm again back to normal i do this only with Difficulty: Hard

 

Done growing now waiting for some more camping equipment to collect the last prizes, I'll get them tomorrow, so no worries
