The Mind's Eye - Strategy Thread

My strategy - make some cc's. I'll do step one because it involves no breeding. I only breed during BBDay, but I think I have all the breeding animals that I need. If there's a BBDay I'll breed my mice - I really want that pink mouse!

 

I have pretty much all the breeding animals needed. I'm just not real excited about this event....I'll breed some other animals if BBD comes along and pick and choose what I want.

 

i do my best to find a brite site on this event but beside the wonder stable i really dont see any
so i dont if i join this event i do need some breeding anils for castles in the sand lv 7 so i will work on that
dont have enough PF anyway

I will say a lot of great insight and advice...i think I am sitting this one out as well. I dont need any Baha animals. I really am waiting for BBD so that I can get my Pink Rodeo Pen back (foolishly traded-must of been when I was pulling an all nighter )

I really appreciate you guys who are able to put it into simple numbers...what u need, what it cost and whether its worth it. It makes it so much easier to make a good choice...Thanks All....

Nellie, Next G&T please message me and I'll give you a scarecrow or a flower, depending on which flower you need... I have extras. Thank you 12 for sorting the numbers for us. I am only going to do this if there is a baby boom. I have to work 6 days this week, so my time is limited.... and I'd like to be able to make the most out of breeding. I'm hoping for one over the week end, preferably Sunday.

 

I am sitting this one out as well.
I only have a couple 100 power feed.
I think I'll just sell pheromones and animals

 

that's what I'm doin ive made over 2 mil on each farm so far now if I could keep ahold of all that money till next breeding event and keep doing that id be set lol

I haven't checked my barn yet, but I'm pretty sure I have most of the animals needed. Still in need of Stars so it looks good to me. I'm still working on my Chicken Quest so the breeding will not be a problem. All I can say is C'mon Baby Boom Day!

So.. checked the barn and I have almost everything I need. Also identified a couple of nifty cash makers. Like I said before C'mon Baby Boom!

 

Think I have to agree with everyone else regarding this event. Even if you have the breeding animals needed you still have to use the PF in order to get the required "Fuzzles" for each level. If I understand correctly you get one from each breeding but nowhere else (not from magic trees or gifting).

This event seems like it is aimed at those who will "buy their way through it" because with the monthly breeding events we haven't had that much time to replenish PF in inventory. Usually, Bigpoint makes the events so that you can choose to pay BB's to have a section finished, buy baskets/supergrow/BB's/PF to assist with event or put in a lot of hours working on it to complete the event but this time it won't matter how many hours you play if you don't have the PF.

You have your choice of getting the EP's and Cloud Row 2 ways:
1. Do all of Level 1 (no Fuzzles or PF required)
Do Silver Row for Levels 2 through 5
Do all of Levels 6 & 7
This takes 216 Fuzzles to complete - at 1 per breeding that is 432 PF (you get 6 PF from Level 1-2 and 1-3) - you get EP's, CC's and stars as rewards

2. Do all of Level 1
Do Level 2 Silver Row only
Do all of Levels 3 through 6
This takes 199 Fuzzles to complete - 398 PF and you get the party spins, harvest helper, Baha stable and 50 PF from Level 6.

It is really a lot of PF needed for one event -- will have to wait til game starts to see if there is something I am missing.

Am going to have to skip this event as I do not have enough PF to finish Levels 6 and 7 to get the Cloud Row and EP's.

I really hate missing out on Cloud Rows and EP's because they are things that you get the "rewards" repeatedly every time you harvest them. Just can't afford to do this though.

I have gone far enough to get the Stable at Level 2-3 and then I will have to save the rest of my PF for baby boom days to finish other quests or for Frog Breeding in June.

UPDATE: One farm received Pink Panda and another got a Peanut Butter Factory . I have to give Bigpoint credit for letting people know the requirements of events so that they know whether or not they have a chance of finishing them before they start them.

 

Hmmmm.....I am sitting this one out. I have several goals I am working on and need all the PF I have for that.

I got 4 of the 5 scarecrows...but Capt scarecrow never appeared on the wheel ... every party ticket that i have used and that has been many... that hasn't been on it
Was the same with the flowers ...only ever got crazy daisy ...the rest of them didn't exist in my game

I think, that they should rename the "Difficulties " of these Quests !!!
Quest : EASY = In your dreams, will never happen.
MEDIUM = We will "suck" your Recourses dry, before you finish.
HARD = If you Don't "Buy" it, you will Not get it.
ps. But that is just me...............

 

nm56, you have to do all of step 6 or you can't get the CR to put the deco (giver) items on. Your first choice won't work.

 

@ Nellie I also have extra Cap n Scarecrows (40) in inventory message me next G&T and if we are allowed to trade or gift them I would be more than happy to send you one. Also have a few extra flowers if we can gift or trade those this next G&T event, they are just sitting in inventory collecting dust.

Ummm, I still have other breeding goals to go after. at this point I'II go to OZ and get that Toto myself! And the depletion of Island Bats We need breeding here too! Having an event that gives Candy on top of needs All I can say is bring it on!

 

Unfortunately there is no point arranging to trade flowers and scarecrows They have never been tradeable, and I doubt they ever will be. We recently had a sale for the flowers, they were over 100BB each, so it is unrealistic that they will be tradeable any time soon.

Back on topic: I expect I will do the first 6 levels. The extra items don't appeal to me this time (prefer 10hr items). Yes, it is a lot of PF, but since I already have the needed animals (many bought for CC), I get to keep the animals I breed. The breeding will mostly be an investment for future events (possible new neon event?). For me it is reasonable to use 400 PF during a BBD, but if you don't buy PF it is quite a lot, and I fully understand those that will skip it. In any case it is not a "must do event", but another cloud row is always welcome here.

to all your thanks. It was not a great calculation though. Rains have stopped here and cyclone has moved to neighbouring state. So my vacation trip along with my family starts day after tomorrow. So happy. As said only doing first two steps for the tickets & pen.

He is right now busy with lettuce multiply. Growing them all night long.
