Little Helpers - Strategy Thread

So angry here! Foolin around with those dog gone One-Two Eggs and those Hoppers (frogs) and not keeping my fields junks-active by harvesting. Now RL is about to get me and I'll be stuck! I wanna just play hoppers and hopper feed and hopper feed stuff just like lettuce.

Hope everyone is performing better than I am with the event.

 

Just starting with the event because of RL issues. I am glad, it is not one I am set on finishing, I'll do as much as I possibly can. Some of you have been getting great drops.

quit easy event animals on stock crops 17.900 i use 3 fields so it should be a piece of cake
i have now in almost 20 hours 345 feather dusters and 327 squirt bottles 2500 organic lemonsso on stock
i dont see any problems for now use 3 fields with only water
this way i can harvest twice or three times a day
and if this event wont be finished doesnt really matter there no big prices like wonder stables or trees
but of course i will try to finish it

My farm is coming along nicely. I kept my badgers and frogs out plus Rainforest remains in trees, so my drops are not as high as what some of you are reporting, but still above the daily average so on track for completing the event and other farm goals.

 

I was able to get up to all five fields finally. Ended the day with just over 5000 Organic Lemons, 353 Feather Dusters, and 329 Squirt Bottles. I'm hoping I can get done around the third day and get back to doing other things.

As a side note. The only SG and SSG used for this event were 10 each for the initial starting seeds. Everything after that has been just water and a CAC.

I have done a couple of steps, but am basically giving up and going back to regular farming. Too much real life stuff and I want to work more on regular farm goals right now.

 

I am getting very nicely i use 3 fields crops over 6000 and drops both over 400
nice and easy does it tonight 1 more harvest and for the night i put the froggs back on and roses
and on baha guarana

So, I had juuuuust finished my Mendel event when a thunderstorm decided to brew cumulonimbus clouds of some fairly decent size.

"No biggie," I think. "I'll check on the June events later."

Then Taranis (or Thor, or insert choice of thunder deity here) spoke. Loudly. Our power went out no less than three times. I swear, there is nothing more nailbiting than to have your computer come back on only to install updates, knowing full well that the power will go out for 1-2 seconds several more times before the storm is over. Luckily we got through that, but then Taranis spoke again.

This time the line to the den (which has to run outside the house) zorched, and apparently several things upstream of our box. Taranis was less than thrilled, apparently. Thus, we've been knocked back nearly to the Victorian era for about two days. Fun, fun. Mike had to drive into town to get cell reception. Not ideal when you're closing on a new job contract. (Oh, and this one should be a permanent posting.) Life in rural country, fun, fun.

Comms got restored today when the non-dog-or-chicken-friendly phone guy came out. Poor guy probably needed a Valium afterwards. (Um, dude, we're in the country. We have livestock, pets, etc. I wonder what he would have thought of my neighbors? Might have crapped his pants at the guinea hens or the goat on the roof of his van!) Maybe I'm glad we don't have alpaca yet. LOLOLOL

So, since I didn't even get on this event until it had been well started, I'm sitting this one out. Taranis had a bad temper night. Ah, well, haven't had to water, and that's always nice. Besides, I've been sitting with a fluffbum (a.k.a. a baby chicken), the only one to survive, and I had to help it out of the shell. I spent several hours on Tuesday hovering under a heat lamp, willing it to live. It's now out of the woods and mostly okay, I think, but need to keep a close watch.

OMG gaura, I don't even know where to start! I am glad you are ok and survived the thunder storm!
I hope your little baby chick gets bigger and stronger every day, the poor baby! I also hope you get all your power and phone fixed real soon....good luck with that! It is too bad you have to miss the event but another will be along real soon I am sure!

Your post reminded me of the video game called Frogger...some of u are probably too young to remember it...it was on Atari & Coleco Vision ahhhhh dating myself

 

elimeno - LOL...I used to love frogger! But I got discouraged b/c the kids & hubby could always out play me. It would be a blast if they had a mini game like frogger here. I don't care if this dates me.....I've already resigned myself to being old.

 

I loved Frogger ....yep I'm old too!!

JJenks - Thanks for the nostalgic pic!!! I could get past the logs...but a darn car always squashed one of my wee froggies.

I too am really focusing on getting all the 17,500 organic lemons grown.....so I can get back to raising frogs!
Has`anyone heard from igotfrogs??? She would go nutty for this!!!

CylentLea - What a problem to have? LOL Do you dress in very expensive clothes? Perhaps these 25 somethings are looking for a sugar mama? Either that....or you've discovered the fountain of youth. Anyhoo...good for you!

 

wow I'm glad I'm not the only oldie but goodie in here lol and I am so HAPPY to see you again cylentlea123 and that's a good problem to have keeps you young I broke down and did the silvers on the event couldn't help it

 

I have Now have Grown Enough 17500 Organic Lemons at Least I got Junk Crop Requirements out of the Way. So Far Got 491 Squirt Bottles and 509 Feather Dusters.

Now All Five of my Fields is Free not to Grow any Junk Crops. Since we are now Able to Buy Frog Ponds from The Store, I already had 12 Frog Ponds, So Brought 116 Frog Ponds and 128 Frog Pond: Yellow. Last Night i have put out All 128 Frog Ponds and using Buffs. From Now until Frog Breeding will Grow as Many Frogs as I can.

Brookeham ...I Got Frogs is still around as she is my Neighbour, But seem not to be Accessing her Farm as often as we are. We all are thinging of Her as she Love Frogs lol

Trishap58 I remember Frogger Game....It a Great Idea that Farmerama devise a Frogger Mini Game in Frog Breeding Event or Frog Themed Event lol
