Hi ming The event ends in two hours, as was announced in both the OA and the FAQ. The event preview said it would end on the 7th, but that was just a preview... We will have to wait for the announcement to see when the soccer event starts

now now meba I was just a little distracted I did finish the event, but with less than 20 drops each left over The last days I have been growing organic lemons overnight to get enough crops and not harvesting on time meant only two rounds during the day + a few rounds of chickens. My farm was also not prepared for the event, so didn't have many drops at the start. Buuut, I finished the event, so all is well

Well out of four farms not finished. Got cloud row on all and some other items but drops could not have been worse all around and three farms have a HD. Such is farming life. Reset farms for a few days.

 

I finished this morning with about 5 1/2 hrs to go. Ended with 577 lemons, 74 dusters, 5 bottles and 3 detergents. Yes, I went for the sticker as I am still in the belief that someday those things are going to come in handy I might have finished sooner had I planted really long crops after I grew all my lemons but I was using my CAC to grow other things that I needed. This usually isn't a problem and I manage to get all my drops but I was starting to sweat a little Guess I really need to pay closer attention to any differences in the dates

 

Thank you F_B for explaining where/why/what "junks" was and originated. I am now free to go about my day w/o perseverating over it

 

I finished the event today morning with 189 lemons, 46 duster and 90 bottles. I do not usually analyse too much, so I bought the sticker. Seems I am very much affected by FCOD.

Meba ! Thank you for that post. I too forgot to activate the cloud row. Gone straight and did that now.

Hi elimeno. Where is this explanation ? I cannot find it. And what is the cure for FCOD ?

Well.... this is the first event I didn't finish in a long while. I am so disappointed, but given my recent bout with the flu and my six day work week..... well it just couldn't be helped. I did up until the last level and only finished the first step of that level. So I got the cloud row but no Little Neatnik EP giver. It's disappointing, but this too shall pass and there will be other cloud rows. I just can't stand cloud rows that are there..... and you can't use them. I wish we had a delete button on the Cloud Rows sometimes ;( Congratulations to everyone who did finish.... well done!

Use of the word "junks" in these event strategy threads is made to refer to the absolutely worthless event crops grown during events. I do have a much more descriptive word in mind to refer to these worthless event crops. I'm certain the specific word is not appropriate here but I'm sure you get the idea. QUite surprisingly I have received more EMs than igms making use of the word "junks" in referencing event crops.

I remember the words "junk" and "junks" used while studying world history many years ago. A junk is an ancient Chinese ship that has had both military and industrial uses. When in China a few years ago, I had the opportunity to go aboard a junk still actively being used in the fishing industry. They are not as popular as they once were but they do still exist.

 

Thanks Nellie but I was too late reading this! I must have deactivated "Watch Thread" for mini events. Reinstated it now so hopefully I won't miss the next one! Much appreciated you giving me the nudge Ms Noodles!

Back to topic: I didn't finish the event on either of the two farms participating. Lacked about 20 Feather Dusters and 10 Spray Bottles on this farm and a few more on Chevrefeuille but got everything I wanted. Just hope the next one is a little less tight with the drops or, please, please, no drops required at all ... I particularly the Perfect Pea for that reason!

 

You are very welcome Illy...i didn't buy it either ... Only buy it to help in events ...saw no events ... and as i only had 7 BB's thought i would try and save another 7 to get the harvester and seeder for the next one

Am glad we have sometime away from events ...can do some restocking of things .... which is very much needed on my farm and get some sleep ...badly needed
