Thanks so much, lost control of my farm a little bit ago, so many new things, back to the grind stone.

@mingling, you can add me to that lost control list. But I am struggling not to let go and not to be swept away in the new waves.

I like the event and its rewards. I will be doing it in full and also make some CCs. Thanks illy, Decree and Mir for the strategies and split ups. Its helpful.

Yes, I agree 12ss12, the farmers here are great! get lost and someone will light a candle.
Making CC I will miss out on, but I hope to get some of them stalls!

It's like starting over with a tushie cushion little bit to fall back on a whole new way to play.

JJenks is not the only one wanting them stars!!!!!

Just a note to everyone, the breeding stall is open for loading/breeding frogs.

Also, remember to wait for the BBD to harvest if you care about getting the most out of your PF!

I have enough frogs to do the 7 steps without breeding. But I will get some in the shack and see what kind of skips are being given this time. Good Luck everyone!!:p:D:D

How many frogs does it take to complete the first 7 steps? I'm not sure if anyone has done the calculation.
Currently I have 37 frogs, 16 dart frogs and 5 aquamarine frogs.

First page, third row down shows the cheapest calculation without accounting for BBD skips.

Thank you for collecting and explaining the event faqs, and doing all those calculations. As I mentioned before I have three fields full of frogs, as I anticipate this event to be extremely profitable. I will have a spreadsheet going for the full event which calculates the exchange value compared to the market value. I anticipate that the numbers will vary widely over the course of the event, so a spreadsheet is my tool to find the best bargains, as well as when to sell. In the past, I have been over donating the exchange value in quests, using upper bred animals that are cheap and saving the basic and first level bred animals to sell, especially in the beginning.

If you are with limited resources I would strongly recommend switching every 2x2 you can to frogs. The pens cost only 2500 cc and the first frog is worth in my market 12,000 cc right now. The feed is expensive but you can use also use powerfeed. In my market with eggs still under 1000 cc and soy under 200 cc, you can mill your own feed and still recover the cost of the stall with your first frog sale.

I am gifting toolboxes to help neighbors and friends build ladders, which will also be a really good investment while the market prices are so inflated. I'm really looking forward to great results during the baby boom which starts tomorrow! Best of luck everyone!

The donation value has nothing to do with the prices in the market. it is sort of a base value. As said above, you find the value by looking in your barn.

That's showing how much feed you have for that animal. Could come in handy.

Thank you SO MUCH for the Party Spins! Wow, a shearing shed, Pagoda Birdhouse, etc sooo much good stuff.

I am looking forward to the event. I have the Baby Boom Rune now, so I anticipate that that and the event Boom should give me some extra animals. I have 38 frogs atm, but I hope the Skip Gods will look with compassion upon me. I do hear that Boom Rune + Boom can grant extra animals, right? I obviously only plan on the first seven steps if those are possible for me.

    Thank goodness, no drops.

Real life: a Biblical plague of locusts-- well, grasshoppers but close enough-- has descended upon my land. I harvested exactly 2 ounces of parsley from eight plants. Three days ago, those same eight plants had probably ~2 or 3 pounds of greenery. My potatoes are toast, although I managed about a pound of baby tubers. One of the dogs somehow got into the bathroom where the chicks are at. Fortunately, I was able to grab her before harm ensued. Yikes. This is not going to be a good garden year. A shame, too. My kale are ginormous and I had some good new ideas to improve my growing otherwise. We now are going to turn into salvage scroungers-- time to build some serious frames to exclude buggies. May be too late for this year, but it's not too late for next year!!

Gaura, Then harvest the grasshoppers... eat them for protein or sell them to people who use these for protein.

Hi gaura :) 38 frogs isn't going to be enough :( I recommend that you buy some more frog ponds in the shop and put them out, as many as you can afford (I have 88 frog ponds out right now). You can sell some of the frogs and it will cover the cost of the pens. Mill feed if you don't have enough. Good luck!
