Yeaaaaa, it worked!!! Thank you very much Mir85 ;);)

I was wondering why those 61000 frogs weren't going like hot cakes.. so glad I checked instead of waiting (forever) for them to sell. Back on track again and they are flying out of my barn faster than I can keep up :wuerg:

Not complaining, mind you... I have a plan for today!! Need to earn some stars to open my water tank to higher levels so I can start churning out more PF's at once!! So I'm off to try finding some "good" deals in the market, then skipping on over to the farmers society 8)8)

I guess one of the Reason why prices of Frog is so high. Party to do with Once upon a Lilypad Quest, As there are 17 Steps to do. Therefore is Demanding more Requiring Amounts of Frogs and Breeding Frogs. Compared to Previous Breeding Quests Events.

We did do Breeding Quest of Chameleons Last Year. The Prices of Chameleons did not go anywhere near the Prices of Frogs Reaching in our Markets. But Chameleons do take 17 Hours to Produce. Frogs 16 Hours !!

Second Reason We have to Consume more Frogs to complete more Quests Levels of Frog Breeding Quests. Weather that is indication of shortfall of Farmers not able to reap enough Frogs Prior and leading up to Frog Breeding Event. How Many Farmers would rip up and place 128 Frog Pens in their Farms few weeks to run up to Frog Breeding Event.

We would have to constantly Mill Frog Feeds too, But some Farmers do not have Egg Trees, as they can only Craft Egg Farms from workshops but only Obtain Egg Trees from Barter and Gift Event

Chevrefeuille just finished the event - after making numerous mathematical blunders but that's all part of the game. I started the event with less than 10 million cc and now have double that and more, so those blunders weren't too bad after all eh Farmerbroke? Illy, as l think I already said, made quite a good lot of CCs (about 20 million). Little junior farm is indecisive - does it finish up to level 7 and get the CR or just sell the coloured Frogs while the going is still good? Oh, decisions, decisions! :music:

I think I used about 250 PF on both main farms and then bought anything else I needed to finish. :)

Those coloured Froggies are starting to appear now in my market, Pups. Think I may have chosen the wrong moment to resell my "blunders"!

Good thinking Candy; my last farm can only mill four PF at a time - so frustrating. And I have 25 Water Towers that I have to harvest manually to avoid my reservoir overflowing! Poo is the same - harvest with the harvester and that pile slips next door! :wuerg:

Chevrefeuille didn't have much luck with those secret stables: Tortoise (now makes 8!) and Dove (only 11 in storage!). Trees: Dogwood and (another) Mountain Juniper. :p

Illy hasn't put out the stables yet but got a Dogwood (seeing a trend here ... ) and an XXL Apple Tree. xD

Good luck with the event and those secret stables and trees everybody. ;)

    Thanks for explaining, Mooboy !
Its a pity the price didn't reach 1,00,000/- :pThat would have been a pretty sight. (Just kidding of course):p

Illy, I too made that amount. But all that went in making of the pink frog stall. So no regards. Now on the process of getting a stabilized CCs reserve.

Finished 7 levels & 8, 9 levels. Waiting for prices to come down, if they will. Not enough frogs or coloured frogs to proceed profitably further. So will wait & decide about it.

I know that it is wiser to wait One-Two but then I think, hey, I've made a fortune (virtual though it may be!) so I am only spending what I have already made from the event. And I just can't wait! :inlove:

Forgot to say that even baby farm made about 5 million CCs! So we are all laughing all the way to the Market! xD

I am waiting not because I am wiser but because I neither have the frogs nor the CCs right now to do the quest.:pxD Making CCs to do the rest levels. I still have to do the rest 8 levels. That's a lot.

And like you said, my other farm has never had such money. It had never touched 1 million, even though its in level 86. But now its making some millions. Long Live frogs !xD

Frogs are going down on my market rather quickly as you all had predicted... and keep dropping ( 30,000):eek:

My last batch, which I put up awhile ago are still sitting there waiting for a new home at 41,990 :cry:

Ya gotta love this market stuff LOL :music::music:

Thank goodness...as I only have 52 frogs left after BBD and Lilypad event. I completed 9 levels and stopped. However, I went a little crazy on breeding froggies. o_O:wuerg:xDxD

Good luck to those still working on "Once upon a Lilypad"!;)

Queen "elimeno" I believe it is, o_O
A warm welcome to "broke's Shark Financial Services (bS FS) of Farmerama" 8)
So you find yourself desiring a loan I understand :)
bS FS lends by issuing in daily installments and collects in installments 8)
The rates are reasonable:) and even negotiable 8)8)
o_O How much might you require in order to get this transaction underway? -.-8)

Lots of fun with this event. The strategy now is to review methods of acquiring goods in order to complete Step 2 .

Got it! This breeding event is a distraction from what is happening. If one goes to the silver level of that animal box thinggie one will see it asks for 1,000,000 in animals or breeding animals.

Most do not keep records of breeding animals. The wisest donation to that quest is by EV! This explains why there is a price increase of some base animals and breeding animals. <-----------
market price divided by EV will give the rate. The lower the rate the wiser the submission.

The rate changes as barns empty! As the rate increases other animals are included as eligible for donation. (The basic frog was great if purchased and held to donate but not anymore.)

You should see an increase in the price of fish, bees, and beaver as proof. Remember the hedgehog? Not so cheap anymore because it is an eligible animal for donation. The base frog at current price is not eligible because the ratio of market price to EV is too too high.

Many barns will empty of those cheap albino bats, speckled goats, black goats, brownies, brown prigs, halflingers, sheep, ducks, and goats simply to get rid of them.

(An example is in the menagerie thread)

I have seen the example and yes I remember the hedgehog. I have sold Hedgehog at 2.5 the price I paid for them - but still hold many. I can only agree with you.

Fishes have not gone really high here - only slightly up, but the listings are fewer, Bees rose and Beaver just rock! Cats sold at 3 times their usual price but now down under 2k again - also a good animal to donate earlier.

I buy Albino bats even though they have gone up. I think there are still many on my mkt. so I collect them at my new buy rate and hold.

Me too and will continue until that market value to EV ratio is about equal with that of other animals. Whether to invest depends on the ratio though and not a pure price decision.

There are other eligible animals with similar EVs: reindeer, dog, beaver, hedgehog ....... Holding ccs in an inflationary environment only leads to loss of buying power as prices continue to rise. There are lots of players who will submit at least 1,000,000 in EV of animals and that is for one step.

This frog breeding exercise is a nice introduction.

I'm going to spend the millions and try to go to exactly -0- .

Yes there are other animals and they have gone up as well - especially dog and wolf on my mkt. The Toucan is a really good alternative now for donating to the trophies and Parrots too. Too bad baha animals can't be used for the Menagerie quest.

Oh well I have ccs to spend too and I will most likely go broke sometime soon....Lettuce broke :pxDxDxD

    Have a nice time shopping!
