Hi all!

The Tea Solves Everything Event starts tomorrow and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

The (very rough) estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is:

185 Teabags - Yikes

Always remember to save your gifts till after the event starts so you can start to send event items straight away!

If you need anything else for the event, ask for it here.

Please note:

My main farm (Illy1996) usually manages to get all drops. If I do need help, I will post here, My second farm, Chevrefeuille should be okay too and if I need help, I will post here.

So If you receive gifts from either of my farms, please do not send gifts to either of them.

If you want to return the favour, send to someone else asking for help.

A very BIG thanks to all the SWEET farmers that sent me drops. I managed to get to level 4 gold. Much appreciated

 

As always u need one field with a large crop 100 plus, always growing i like spelt it give's up about 34+ drops keep track of larger crops
some do just as well as the longest grower's sometime's i have two fields growing long crops, if i'm in good shape with event crop,
and time is on my side.

oldman49 Its not that we want it for free. I would personally prefer to be able to complete the quest by myself if not for the pathetic drops from harvesting crops. I don't see what's wrong with asking for drops and returning the favor. Isn't that what community spirit is?

So far I have found the following to be true for this Event on my fields. Hope it helps those who need drops.

Main Fields:
Terrible Drop Rate: Lavender, Lotus Flower
Bad Drop Rate: Dentallaria, Crop Circle, Daffodils, Orange Tulips,
Good Drop Rate: Winter Jasmine, Begonia, Watermelons, Spinach, Pens/Workshops (Pink, Neon and Frog)
Great Drop Rate:

I don't think I found a "good glitch" - more than likely salt probably looked like a teabag at 3 in the morning (shouldn't post at that time of day).

I have been doing "test patches" on my fields for different crops. Although they have been ok I am not receiving the same drop rate (40-50+) for some of the higher level crops that others are. Have been trying some of the mid level crops where Ican get 2 harvests for the same amount of time (usually 34+ for both).

Without the buffs or plant refinements it just seems that the events have become harder due to the lower drop rate. Also some have said they receive a increase in drop rate towards the end and mine seems to be the opposite.

Guess I just have to work on those refinements because it doesn't look like Farmerama plans on increasing drop rate.

 

nm56: Tropical fields do not give drops at all during this event so you shouldn't be getting any. If you are, you have fallen upon a welcome glitch. Shhh!

Edit: I got my best drop ever that I can remember this morning, though with the font as it is, I may have been mistaken! One field of Broccoli gave me 50 drops (no Howie but LL at maximum). It really is random.

 

None of my neighbours are returning gifts, so I know that it will be impossible to get all the tea bags for the event. I have too many tea leaves already, but no other crop seems to drop as high as them. *sigh*

 

Desperation. Add Bhodho to the list...

 

If your longest regular crop is less than 5 hours, you are right. The event crop will give you the most drops. However, maybe putting out longer animal pens will give you more? If your current neighbors are not returning gifts, maybe it is time to get new neighbors?

Thanks to all friends and neighbors who sent teabags It is 4 AM and I have harvested a field of trees in order to get enough teabags. The overnight crop just wasn't enough. I now have enough teabags (the exact number with none left over) to make the final cups of Earl Gray. That means that every one of your gifts was used and most appreciated. Thank you!

 

I've been getting excellent drops on garlic, 40+ each time. Don't need help, just wanted to pass on my results.

 

Hi Everyone!!
I am sad to say that I need help with the drops once again..... It is very frustrating that I am here asking for help once again.. I finished my tea crops days ago. I have been planting roses and carnations and have even staggered the fields for harvesting. My drops are horrible with a whole field yielding only 19 drops or less.. I have 3 Howies and 1 trophy maxed with the other almost maxed.. I dont know what is going on but it has been like this on several events in the last few months. Plus i think that with only being able to get drops from 3 fields that the amount of the drops required for the event is outrageous.
I hope that everyone finishes the event or gets where they are trying for. I need about 265 drops to finish the event right now.

If anyone can spare to send me a drop I would greatly appreciate it and i will send you one back if you need one just let me know until i run out of daily gifts. I can also send you something after the event if you like just let me know.

Sad to say, I also find myself in need of a little drop boost here in the bear's den. Usually by now drops seem to pick up, but not so much this time. Is it just me, or have the last few "medium" events been overly difficult, and the "hard" ones fairly easy?
