What should I do or grow to get more drops? Which fields give more of them?

Ariel - grow the longest crop that fits with your harvesting schedule.

Too many teabags still needed for cloud row with time left.
Good event though even if hard for a new player. Got some stars a tree a stable and EP.

The drops have nothing to do with how much crops you harvest or how much EP you get. So for instance Carrot Apple Chutney or Pumpkin Jam doesn't increase drops, nor does Zucchini Apple Bread (not that you asked about this).

If the drop rate is high you could get more drops from 1x2 than 2x2. If you have 44 2x2 fields then the maximum number of drops you can get is naturally 44. If you replaces them with 88 1x2 fields you could get more, if the drop rate is very high. If the drop rate is normal and you don't grow a very long crop I don't think it matters much. At least I wouldn't switch to smaller plots in the hope of getting more drops from event crops. I would rather switch to smaller plots to increase the effect of CAC, but only with the harvest helpers.

I got my best drop ever that I can remember this morning, though with the font as it is, I may have been mistaken! One field of Broccoli gave me 50 drops (no Howie but LL at maximum). It really is random. :music:

With 49 hours to go, I am well within the parameters of the average required daily drop on this farm and Chevrefeuille. So I have set off my mill for the Earl Grey production ... just hope I have not messed up my calculations! :wuerg:

Edit: I have converted my Baha lands to trees now in readiness for the Fruit Market. It suits me just fine as I have just bought the Harvester function for a few days, no need to manually feed the animals I had grazing there! I will change my strategy after the next event: animals versus trees? Even manually, it is just two clicks for trees so unless something comes up needing animals or crops, I think trees will win. :D

ChristmasTreeFarm - It sounds like you are doing as well as you can be at your level. Be patient. Being able to complete events takes time and as you can see from other farmers posting here, the teabag drops are elusive to even high level farmers. Congratulations on your upgraded tree and stable:) Have fun farming!

I did. I somehow forgot to calculate 35 earl grey and now I am struck in middle of everything.:cry:xD

You are doing great. As you start levelling up more and more and stocking up your barn, you will find yourself completing the quest. So as for now just concentrate what you can finish. Play without stress. That's the way to play this game for long.

12ss12 is so right! :) The fact that you have tried this event is great!:D I have 2 cloud rows from when I started that are missing one giver because I could not finish, BUT I tried the event and got prizes along the way! I hope you ALWAYS play the game to have fun as that is what a game is suppose to do!;) Happy Farming!

In dire need of 250 drops with no time to collect. I planned to plant trees today to be harvested after Fruit even, but that means an empty row as I won't get the drops...

This farm needs too many drops to even think of calculating. Just haphazardly taking whatever prizes sail this way.

Just harvested my 3 fields of Maple Trees and received 138 Teabags. With another 40 hours left in the event I'm sure you could get enough drops from trees.

Finished the event earlier today, so in a couple of hours I'll plant the trees for double auto tree harvest on Monday :)

I have finally got the Last of The Tea Bags to Complete This Event. Phew 1100 Teabags using 3 Fields is not easy.

Bhodho....If you have Refinement Crops and Use Super Grow Buffs using Comfort Fields. Happy to use Super Grow as you can get Instant Harvest on Carnations, Leeks, Organic Cotton or Roses.

I Never need to Buy any Baskets, Small, Medium or Large as they are not good Value for Money. As you can use Suzy Super Grow or Super Grow to help you with Completing This Event. Using Baskets is really very Last Resort ;)

Now I can Prepare my Farm Ready for The Fruit Market Event. Place Trees in All Fields. Try as many Trees that gives Best EV Fruits or Best CC for Fruits in the Market :p

Still need to make 50 Earl Grey so I need 200 drops:eek::eek: I just get totally bored with planting long crops in order to get enough drops-.--.- But that is what I have been doing...not my longest but what I think should be long enough:music::music: Personally 900 drops would have been enoughxD

Thanks for the Earl Grey Tea, dutchboy. Donated them to the quest and finished that part of quest. ;) Had some Earl Grey tea myself. You see I still need 195 drops. So need to have some stamina myself to harvest the refined roses.;):pxD

If you have enough tree fruit to finish L20 on large baskets, you don't really need the drops for the Fruit Market event so you can maximise your fields to finish Tea Solves Everything. Of course, trees on your main fields will give you Teabags anyway. So trees would be good all round. ;)
