I planted my comfort fields 2 days before and harvested them today. I used refined roses with water & manure. Comfort fields are useful if you place them 1 or 2 days before the event. The longer the time period to grow the greater the drops. If you use comfort fields now, you have to use supergrows. If you can spare supergrows, you can do that. The best crop you can plant overnight is carnation or roses (refined roses/carnation take less time to grow) on ordinary fields. If you lack drops, at the end of the event you can go for comfort fields + rose/ refinement rose + Super Grows + white innocence + fruit cake + Water + Manure + the Cloud row for flowers. Even if you don't have the cloudrow, it will not be a problem. Without it refined roses on comfort fields with the above combination will take 35 to 40 mins to grow and give you good drops. I too don't have the cloudrow.

If you don't have time to place comfort fields before the event, you can place pens/workshops with long hours. I usually have workshops of 44 to 36 hrs. With water, buffs & cloudrows the time can be reduced. You can also plant 20 hrs trees with EPs more than 120 or Maple trees (they have 115 EP). For this event I had a combination of workshops, comfort fields & trees.

I did comfort Kohlrabi and had those apple trees out-- had over 100 drops this morning. I am crossing my fingers for enough drops. Trophy drag in about 45 minutes for me.

Hmmm, I am really in two minds about this one o_O. To bother or not to bother, that is the question. I like the fact it's something different but am also a bit mind-boggled by it all. Am not that fussed about the CR and I already have the Ocean Day givers (and CR) but to bother with the rest.....I can't decide 8). I'm growing 'junks' just in case I decide to :music:. Good luck to everyone else and thank you to those peeps who have done all the workings out :inlove:.

Just planted my carrots w/ 2x2's and free water. Will harvest in 2 or 3 or 4 hours. Growing them myself and soon I'll be be a crop grower. Proud of myself! xD

And ashamed of myself for already making a quick buck off of someone's carrot work :cry:8)

After getting home today from watching grandkids and dogs, I finally really looked at the event. I'm not sure which way I will go but there are definitely things I want;)xD Looks like I will have to take those trees out after all. :p:p Now to look at those strategies again.....I did some real life farming in my daughters garden. :inlove::inlove: Oh how I miss having my own! Good luck everyone in whatever path you choose!!xDxD

RL been overwhelming lately, haven't had the time to really study the FAQ any longer than to say oh my!o_O Did (barely) manage to get fields prepped yesterday, so got good drops (currently have 198 on spots and 194 on bearbabe), tho not impressed with drop rates from event crops. Will grow for a while before I decide how to proceed, mainly want to wait to hear for sure whether we can go back to places we skip over, or if we have to do it all as we go. Thank you Chaya for the plan, helps my poor befuzzled mind figure out where to go:p:wuerg:xD.

There is nothing rude in you putting question that way. I didn't feel any rudeness in it ;). No need of such formalities. :)

I forgot to add supergrows in the formula. With supergrows and combination mentioned in my above post and below mentioned refinements it takes 32 mins to grow. In ordinary fields, it takes 8 mins. All theses are without the cloudrow for flowers.

    Rose refinements (which I use):
early bloomer + water love + duo fertilizer love + SG love

Harvested my 4 hour carrots with free water and I'm all done with the event. I feel like a genuine crop grower now. Thank goodness, no ambition to be a junks grower.

This event has really been tough for the broke farm but it survived.

    Good luck to everyone.

To my neighbors: Please do not send your pollution drops to this farm. This is not the dump! Thanks.

Sorry broke....I forgot which neighbors of mine were not doing the event and everyone got the same gift;):p When everyone gets the same thing, it is easier to go gift shopping.;)

If you aren't careful, I may have to send you a junkie CAC so you can grow junkie event crops that you don't want.:wuerg:xD

So far progressed 18 percent in the event.

Could they've planned a more intricate and "strategy-needing" event for the week when almost ALL of us are on holiday. I think not xD

Well it's a challenge so I'm up for it but only because ChayaAvery posted the path to follow.

Thank you Chayavery :inlove: and best of luck everyone!

From a self appointed handy-dandy new crop grower to multitudes of junks growers:

Don't forget Moonlight Madness will soon be here. Ya might want to plan ending the current event accordingly.

(No problem for the handy-dandy as no pollution droppings are needed. I think a field or three of overnight wheat is enough. xD Wish there was a 20 x 20 plot.)

69,000 ccs here. Remember what happened? Major influences were the call for mushrooms and the award of a junk CAC row. All CAC ingredient prices immediately fell and CAC itself. Now purchasers are longer time players without the CAC row and new players who never had access to the reward anyway but now use.

Events take resources from a farm. I find that selective cloud row acquisition is better use of resources than any and every cloud row available. Each to their own as we all have different goals.

Yes, broke. What you say is right. Those who have acquired cloudrows like these and special pets etc are somewhat better placed. Not because they can sell them. But because they need not spend money, real or farm money to buy these. Also these things cannot be acquired within a short time. You need to stay with the game for long. By long I mean for years. I got the cloudrow for CAC, Carrot bread & pet that gives PP over a period of years. These things helps me play the game easily & comfortably. But one cannot make undue profit from them. I get the CAC from the cloudrow every 48 hrs. I need them to in my farm. So I do not sell them. I do not buy them either. Self-sufficiency is a great thing. If I buy them it means I buy low (someone has put it for very low price- I had 3 or 4 such offers, yesteday. Made use of it to make CCs) & sell high. I opened confectionery recently and trying to level up, so that I can make CAC. But that is still a long way off.

Also like you said, selectiveness - is also one of the key aspect. And once again like you said, it depends upon the player's goals. One has to keep an eye to distinguish between the really good & useful offers/things/pets/cloudrows/or whatever name we call them. I usually try to get most of the cloudrows as they help me level up faster. I try to stack up my barn with things I produce. I know that is old-fashioned. But that suits me and is profitable in long run. Thanks to your influence, now I do buying & selling and following all other lettuce strategy you have deviced and stack up my shillings too. :D I am trying to keep a minimum of 5 million CCs as the fixed balance and the rest CCs, I play lettuce. Plant to increase my fixed CCs balance to 10 million. :)

Just thought to share my thoughts with all players. Nothing great.:) Most important thing is I do not strain myself too much in this game and do not fret if i don't get anything. Relax play is my motto.8)

I too have those CRs but before the CAC one came along, I decided to build up a good supply of the sweet stuff by making and buying when cheap. I don't usually plant crops, I prefer animals and trees, so I only use it during events. I kept giving myself ever changing targets: 20 CAC, then 50 CAC until I got to 100 CAC. I now have anything from 140 and 160 CAC in stock at any time. This means that I always have plenty for events and can also give some away to those who can't make it or afford to buy it. :music:

My strategy for this event has altered slightly. I am going to see if I can finish all the tiles. It all depends how many Baitworms I get. If I am close on Wednesday afternoon, then I will pull out all the stops for the crops - which will be on target but will need to get a couple of extra ones in! I have just opened the first two tiles on all three farms and will be leaving the rest till nearer the end. I just wanted to make it a little more exciting and give myself a challenge! :D

    Good luck everybody! :inlove:

Depends where you are to me, is the big thing.
I am aiming to have min. 32 pages of cloud rows, why? read it's a good number to have as a min. as you can see the benefit. I can already see it as I still have a ways to go.
But as for this CR? I want it, but I also have goals that need the fields that will better the farm, and this round the CR does not meet or gloss over the regular goals benefits. Sad, but I should have pulled keltic out yesterday.
As of now both farms no longer need drops gifts.

Who ever heard of a refinement needing double-.- what you been tossin in? I so need to get this one done over this CR.
