I am so sorry to hear of the end of your love story.

 

Thank you all for your kind expressions...they are appreciated, and they warm my heart.
It is kind of sad to think of it like that.....as the end of a Love story.

We have moved on, though. There were just too many obstacles in such a long distance relationship and too many RL complications. (David lives in New Zealand, and I live in northeastern USA.) So we agreed to just be friends.
We are both o.k. with that.

I am glad so many of you liked our 'story'. It really was quite special while it lasted. I have no regrets....and lots of poetic memories!

I really enjoyed your love stories and adventures. I am going to miss them, you had "done" so many incredible things and it was fun to be a part of if. Ι ved being one of your bridesmaids

Thank you Arielh!! Sooo glad you enjoyed our 'stories'!! We had such fun doing them - I really miss them! Researching all those photos made it almost feel as if we had 'done' them, too!! The shared creation of poetic stories was one of the very special things in our relationship. I don't expect that to ever come along again.....so I will treasure those stories.

*I have to say here that someone is messing with Archives!! When I accessed Archives to find the original marriage certificate, I discovered that someone had deleted ALL the Major ROME HONEYMOON photos in my Primary Honeymoon post!! The ENTIRE post had been deleted, from beginning to the ending plane landing!! And maybe others, too!
This was a creative work, and had taken me untold numbers of hours (days) to get it just right, and was a major part of our story history.......
David's beautiful white TREVI Fountain post and at least one more photo post was also deleted.
I am extremely upset by this. Out in the Real World this would be considered a legal crime - destruction of Creative Works/Literary Property, etc, etc. It has taken a very important element away from the Story. Much time and effort and thought were put into these.*

If anyone remembers and is interested, please check it out and see what a difference it makes....I'd be interested in your thoughts/feedback.
It is in Archives: Everything Else Archives/Gabfest/GameSpouse.....Our story used to start on p.9...and the missing photo post was p.14-15.
I don't know what else has been deleted, so a little extra reading might be in order...

Here is the thread. I don't remember the lost photos Lily, it's been long since I had read them.
I suggest saving all the stories in your computer or in a flash driver(maybe in 2 places so you will be sure you won't lose them).
Maybe it's nobody's fault the images are gone. Maybe from where you got them they deleted them. I don't think someone did it on purpose.
So you better try and save them somehow because maybe this forum will be changed too and we will have a new one in the future.
I know it needs time to do it, but it worths it
I read a few of your stories again and they are still so interesting!

To answer you, they cannot be deleted here from the totally separate places on the net from where I got them.

And there is a history of my photo posts being deleted - just the last example being Mir's Pink Picnic photo's, which delayed - by days - the start of the picnic, and cost many hours of work having to re-do them.
Yes, these were double posted - to keep the post from being too long, to preserve continuity of the continuing subject, and because the continuing subject was one ongoing part of the whole...which should have been taken into consideration for an all-inclusive forum party.

They deleted essential parts of the story in Archives, after they had been there for many weeks(months) - which proves deliberateness - and that's the whole point. Why have an "Archive" to 'preserve' things, if it's going to delete essential parts??!

It is painful to have something which had so much meaning and joy in it, that had taken so much time and effort to create, deliberately destroyed forever.

Hi Jools. I really appreciate your efforts to lighten the situation, and it did make me smile, but there isn't much 'happy' about a divorce. Closure - yes, and therefore contentment, but that's about as far as a divorce, even a Game one, can go, imho.
Thanks for having a sense of humor about it, though. Laughter is good medicine.
