Tree disappointment

I am really disappointment and kinda feel duped. I bought the package of the baha and farm trees and I did not receive 1 out of 30 of the new trees.

 

elimeno - did you buy the Wonder Tree pack? If so, please check your tree inventory - the promised 1 new tree should be there. When you buy the pack you get 1 new tree directly into inventory and 30 surprises to plant.

 

They must have bought the Wonder Plus package, where I found out there is no guarentee of the new tree. I did not buy any packages.

I bought some individual trees, received 1 Red Anjou Pear, 1 Bougainvillia, 2 Chequer, 2 Dogwood plus a few others for Mainland. Did not do as well with Baha Trees, received XXL grapfruit and XXL Pitomba are the best so far, not the new rare tree.

 

HI Mindy, Yes I received the promised tree. I am perturbed that in the other 30 trees from the package, I bought, I did not receive a single new tree. I dont think thats OK. It is what it is...disappointment

 

You did better than me, crownglory. I got mainly Sakura upgrades. I'm not overly put out, I didn't buy the packages and I wasn't holding my breath for the new ones, so I wasn't horrendously upset. I did get the Chequer finally and a Bougainvillia I was hoping for on mainland, which makes me happy. The Rollinia continues to evade me on Baha, tho. Personally, I think it's gotten more difficult overall to get the new trees and stables without buying the package since they started doing 2 package sizes, but that may just be my perception. It is, after all, random.

 

spots- that seems to be my observation too on my farms...harder to get the new trees if not buying the package. Even if buying the package as elimeno did doesn't mean getting more than the guaranteed one. I did get the new tree but no Bougainvillia this time. The ponytail palm did not show up in the first couple of batches I bought but finally did arrive.
But not to worry....they odds of getting them seem to be greatly increased when they get upgrades and are on their final offer so just have to wait a while. this time around I got way too many Amherstia. Lovely tree, both as a newly planted green tree and loaded with pink flowers, but just no room for them all.

 

I am a bit mixed feeling as well. I had few rare trees to begin with, and to not receive a large variety of trees was ...a bit disappointing. I had a lot of Sakura trees, which is lovely to look at....and not that much in demand. The ones I wanted I didn't get.

anyone knows what tree give Goldchain Flower, Hawberry, Saltseeder seeds and silkflower ? <- I defo wanted one of those.

 

The Goldenchain flower (as well as as the Dragonblood tree) came from Pick a Tree Spree and haven't been offered since.

The Hawberry, Salt cedar, Silkflower and Chaste trees were rewards from the Fruit Market event.

 

For a change, I did ok with Wonder Trees - got 2 of each new tree. On Baha got 4 more Rollinia, some good XXLs and way too many Baobab and Amherstia. On the main farm, picked up 3 more Bougainvillea and many, many Sakura - one day I'll set them all out and have a totally pink farm.

It's been a long time since I bought any mystery seedlings. I used to buy 2 every time but my latest results discouraged me from keep buying.
I don't even know which trees are new any more, I have missed so many and I think everything is new
I can't keep up with the new trees or stables because I don't play regularly any more. I hope I will be able to get some of them in the next G&T.

 

Arielh ! You needn't worry. I keep you company. I too don't buy these anymore. I miss lots of stables & tree too. We can play without those. Many wonder stables & trees roll out during events. I will send you them if I get them & if they are tradable.

 

I am glad I am not alone, thanks for the encouragement 12ss12 If I also have some spare trees/animals you don't own I will be happy to give them to you.

 

I used to be obsessive about "gotta have the new tree/stable!", and I'd spend way too many BB until I'd get them. Now, since I rarely buy BB anymore, for the most part I don't worry about it. I hoard my movie BBs pretty close, but I still like to buy at least a few of each, just because I'm a glutton for punishment and I love the mystery aspect of what will I get this time, lol. Lately I just hope for one I didn't get in the last mystery tree/stable, and don't worry about the new one, tho getting 6 of one kind of tree out of 10 seedlings does get old. Plus, I know we will get them for prizes eventually, so I just wait and save them up until I have enough to make it worth putting them out, and hopefully get the newer ones I'm missing that way.
