Life's A Picnic strategy

some insanity took a hold of me this morning... or maybe it was all that PF in stage 5... and I said to myself.... I'm doing the event! Not too shabby so far. Keeping my trees and animals in place, and doing what I can on the main farm and the rainforest only in 1x1 plots (have CAC and mech for a couple of days). Skipping the 3 star step in part 1 to save drops. We shall see.

 

I need 646 more drops lol hope I can get them on this farm

Something's wrong with my strategy
Still need more than 700 baskets.
Comfort fields overnight with chives weren't giving that much of baskets I hoped for.
Growing event plants now until I have enough for all tasks, collecting the baskets and then putting out the long timers just for the baskets.
If I don't get enough drops to fulfill all (exempt gold and diamond step 1), than I at least will get some points and CC for the leftovers.

But... Its a game and only a game

I'm probably skipping this one again due to RL restrictions, which only allows me two harvests of chives each day so I think I'll be better off selling lettuce when I am free.

No, the fields are full of something else. Do they just appear somehow? Something is not right here! I must be a real goof!

The event has not approached event the first 24 hours yet. No need to panic. You are already ahead of the daily average. You are on track to finish the entire thing if you so desire. Enjoy the event. I think you are doing fine.

overhere the first harvest yesterday 196 Drops very nice
now half way of the event crops about 7500 Opal Basil and 5000Chives
at the moment 550 drops so if this continues then tomorrow this time i will have all th crops
probebly need somemore Drops.

There's an old Danish song about a monk that was out walking on summer's day. He looked up at the sky were a swallow was flying peacfully. Just as he looked up the bird sent him a little present, which landed in the middle of his forehead. And the monk folded his hand in a prayer to his god, thanking him for not giving the cows the ability to fly....

OT: I am not doing as well as some of you guys (well done!!), but I am very optimistic and happily watching the Opal Basil grow. They grow very slowly when being watched. Could be it's a bit shy. Hopefully in a few days time we have gotten to know each other better and it grows faster. The droppings are dropping, and if I sneak in a few roses overnight I could do this.

Moraine, you just proofed the rule. No drinking while reading the strategy or grapevine threads. It's just leads to unwanted computer clean ups. (From the outside).
I will do the chive tomorrow. It fits better in RL, at least in parts.
Instead of watching plants grow read in the forum or do some chores (timed of course). That works for me. If I don't forget to start the set timer.

 

Don't take me too literal Dienstag, I don't really sit and watch carrots grow Not unless I'm very busy procrastinating

 

As Pnp said, no need for worry about drops at this point, if you are at or above daily average. I am almost half way with drops using event basil and initial/overnight carnations. A friend using overnight roses and working on basil is just over 300 drops at this point. Looks good for this event.
Will finish basil today (if RL cooperates) and go on with chives. Got more than enough chives to seed all fields, from my earlier nuking!
