You can only loose:
lots of crops much more worth than the so called "rewards"

100 turkish melissa cost 34.200 CC and the reward for 127 of them is 23K plus the junk crops and limestones.

*milling PF for the last four days and the next four days at least*

I'll collect all the limestones and get some pints at the end.

Just in the Rain forest tho, right Woody? Or am I missing something (100% entirely possible, lol). My seeder does not even show any event seeds when I try to plant crops on the Island's main field.

LOL, Well Thank You very much "Miss I'm not woody"... clarification very much appreciated I was waiting to get an answer before I cleared and cleaned out all my caches, cookies and everything else that never helps any of my game issues lol.

 

Never, I repeat, never utter the words "I should be able to..." if you are married. After my almost careful and somewhat considerate calculations that I would be approaching all needed crops by tonight, my dear husband decided today was the day to keep calling with requests that took me away from home and absent from farming. I completely missed out on one harvest that would have me that much closer to my goal. Soooo...he gets to stay up tonight while I try desperately to squeeze in one extra. Our Friday, so we almost always stay up late. And I know he has several hours worth of paperwork to finish tomorrow before we can go camping, so hopefully won't be any problem gathering remaining crops. Emphasis on the hopefully.

 

I'm pretty impressed so far with the "predetermined" amounts of CCs I'm winning as I progress thru the steps of the middle room (and with the EP amounts too... but I'm more excited about the CCs, they are really starting to fatten up my CC purse).

I'm sorta just bumbling thru this event in zombie mode, mainly focused on getting thru the steps and going for the big goodies (like the PF, Stars, Givers etc), and I haven't really been paying much attention to the other prizes in between as I bulldoze my way thru the event. BUT the CC amounts that were over 100K CC certainly did catch my attention

For example... I will gladly take the 119,615 CCs (and the 49839 EP) in exchange for 28 of my Yellow Pears (worth about 135CC each in my market at the moment = 3780CC) plus the 480 Reeds and 35 Limestones required for the next step Kinda makes ripping up my farm, getting up at the youknowwhat-crack of Dawn (5AM PST) to start nuking Reed seeds and using up so much SG, SGG, poop and water a little less painful! (Kinda). I may feel differently when I get to the crop and animals swallowing rooms tho, lol. But for now... just donating some tree fruits, not a problem.

Has anyone figured out the math on how these predetermined amounts are calculated yet? Just curious if any of the brainiacs have nailed the calculations down. Not enuff grey matter in this noggin to figure it out.

 

I didn't see an announcement about them taking double the amount of drops. Is this problem fixed or is it still ongoing??

 

Growing junks and watching the requirements posted. Submitting nothing until all drops are received or time forces to consider.

Level 90 This farm's requirements for first rooms:

569 Dentallaria
9 maple sap
48 pigs

RL will force me into drop farming for at least a day. That's okay because I can see the change in the drop algorithm anyway.

Nothing actually. I had Roses planted. It's just the thought of constantly sprinting to play the game. Sometimes I have to stop, take a step back, then remind myself it's just a game and I don't have to compete in every event. I personally would like a day or two to unwind or bask in the after glow of the last event. Hard to do either if you've hit the deck running for another event. It's my own hang up, I know. I'll hush up about it.

I've copied that to my notebook and told the wife. I hope she'll follow up on it. Thanks a heap to both of you. When it comes to computers I'm point and click too.

@12ss12 You can add 15 Horses to that list one two.

I'm still on the fence with this one. So far the goods they are asking for seem reasonable. I'm not getting great drops like you all, but that's normal. With the loss of the Baha field I have doubts on being able to grow enough event crop. Oh well.

That's what Mr. Grumpy taught us. He is an alter ego of another player and we are still trying to find out who he is. And Kaydd2 is a very nice player. Don't be fooled by the outside. There is only 4 more steps to complete the animals requiring part of the event. Then I will move to others. I have a holiday today for Bakrid and going out of station with my family to my native place and return tomorrow night. So I think refined roses with comfort field would be a good strategy for me. I am so happy and excited. I am going to meet all my friends and relatives. It is a marriage, you see and everyone will be there. If possible I will take some photos for the home thread.

Puffin work very well on iPad. It is not expensive ...maybe $5 USD and also available a free version. I used last year during the holiday and still use it when I am in a hurry.

First level 15 horses but at the moment it's crop time only....no donation yet.
Try to finish the crop for the start of the Baha event.
Drops will be a different story!

for anyone who thinks the ad victoriam item is too expensive to get.... keep in mind... in a trade with me, that item may just get you a pink froggy.... I hate animal pens....and love CC givers. ...just so you know

 

Just 24 hours after the Event start i have 400 drops
First collect all the 13410 Crops before i deliver
I will try to finish this event before the Bahama event starts or at least be so far that i can do both at the same time
with very high expectations for the Bahama event but i keep in mind that the first Bahama event i didn,t open the very last door
so i hope i do better this time

Mine runs fast enough, but eats data like cookie monster - I'm constantly running out. It's just an inexpensive Tracfone, so buy data as go, but man, does it go fast! My complaint with playing on phone is the phone itself, trying to move the screen, and having little side screens pop out, screen size changing for no reason, constantly accidentally activating a "joystick" feature trying to enlarge screen, the list goes on. I am definitely not a techno minded person; I miss phones that actually rang instead of jingled. Although I did have fun with my other basic cell phone when dog Cam was a pup. Every time he started getting too feisty, I'd play the Jingle Bells ringtone, and he'd fall asleep.

Ended up falling asleep myself before last harvest last night, lol, but only about 3000 crops to go to get 2nd giver. Will probably only get 1 giver on bear, need to decide which, tho am leaning towards CC giver. Any thoughts?

Now to build those drops back up Next I will do Rome Did anyone else notice that Knoght Moves is placeable on main farmlands and park only? Depending on how my drops do I may go for the CR just in case for some reason I change my mind down the road and decide 4 stars a month is worth it. You just never know what is down the road as far as BP surprises btw, it took the correct amount of drops-350. I also see there is a scheduled maintenance Thursday morning hmmm.....wonder if or how many "hiccups" there might be? Good luck everyone!
