I don't like this event at all (hate parting with breeding animals) but will be taking part to get the crab pool and new workshop. Thank you to all who've done the math. I'll be looking at it again tomorrow. Once BBD starts to remember what I need.

Chameleons at 9987.

 

Two catergories we have to breed animals in AND collect corresponding badges for have ONE breeding animal in them.
One catergory badge per breed is guarantueed, at random a badge from a different category is added.

To get the badges there are two options:
1) breed Bees and Chameleons first, birds (7 choices) last
2) breed birds first, Bees and Chameleons last

I'm in doubt about this .. What do you think is best?

 

Only about 14,000 chameleons left and about 35,000 bees.

I was just too broke to buy anymore chameleons.

• About finished the last of the animals to pay thee barn back for that quest event with all the room things and junks growing....... check
• Now to try and see about the BAHA event goings on. Producing animals just in case I like the faqs.

Only about 150 power feed and need about 500 more it seems.

• Well, if I begin milling soon then I should have all 500 done by about the first of the new year.

Sounds like a good strategic plan to me.

 

illy1996, escalonilla & habalala, thanks for giving us the inputs. You have saved our brain from malfunctioning. We can breed only the bees in the arthropod section ?

This time you cannot grow junks. You have to mill junks. They cannot be sold in markets too. Around 500 junks to be milled. And most important of all, if you get a cup of power feed, give me half of it, will you (***edit*** forgot to add) "please"? I have just the right number of power feeds and what if I accidentally use it for other animals ?

Still confused...very much confused. May be I will have a clear head tomorrow and decide about what animals to put in breeding

Not a super critical but you might want to fix.

 

For farmers short on animals and or PF, you can consider only getting the basic production pen and not worry about the upgrades. Get out those pens and blanket the entire farm this next week. There is PF awarded in quite a few quests in the city as well as a little bit from stars on the Tree of Wisdom if you find you are close but just need a bit more. I would also think it would be fairly certain to have another Baby Boom this weekend. Good luck!

You get the badges for each breeding. There are lots of bird breeding options, but for reptiles, its just cameleons. For arthropods, its just bees. You may get extra badges, similar to skips, except the badge can be from any category. BUT -- you only get badges from the 3 above categories. So, if you breed mammals or fish, then no badges of any kind (that's my reading, anyway). If you breed bees, you will get an arthropod badge, and you could (no gaurantee.. old Mr random again) get an extra badge of any of the 3 categories. Similarly, a chameleon will give you a reptile badge, a bird will give you a bird badge (chicken, turkey or duck -- same) and could get another badge.

Now, on top of the badge requirements, we also need to donate animals in each category to meet the goals given. The badge and animal steps seem to alternate. For the donation bit, you can use a whole range of animals in each category, though as usual for these events, the bred animals will have a higher donation value than base animals. If you are short, the rare animals have higher values than the base animals, as a rule (but DO check!!!) What is best for you probably depends on how much PF you have and how lucky you are with skips -- both the badge extras and the level skips. ( HOPE FOR BBD!!!) However, remember that any of the non breeding animals can be donated.

My first suggestion for anyone would be to try and stock all the animals you need in the respective categories. If you are a bit short of anything, then try to wait for the BBD, then start by breeding what you can and hope for some extra badges. Chances are you won't need the full 360/400 each of cameleons and bees, but how close we will be is yet to be seen.

 

We will have a short BBD tomorrow as it was announced by teddy this morning. Better set the breeding motels tonight.

 

Just wondering woody if the 'new" animal you have listed (in bold) is a cross between the camel and chameleon???Do we get to create such a thing

 

It might be a cross between camel & lions???
