Wild About Animals Event Strategy

I have very few reptiles, so have my chameleon pens out, and will do as much as I can. I noticed it works to use 1 eggnog and 1 valentine pot at the same time, so am using the few that I have. Thank you illy, escalonia , Habalala, Woody and everyone. It will be fun to get whatever I can, need the stars, golden bananas and what I can get of the new workshops. I don't have the toucan yet, but will be nice to have the workshop waiting, if I should be lucky enough to get it. Good Luck to everyone. This should be fun.

 

Thanks for the number crunching illy! When I read this early this morning, my sleep deprived mind just couldn't quite grasp what was needed. As for the Baby Boom, they've announced one will be here on the same day the event starts. (If I read it correctly)

I should have enough Bees and Chameleons to get started with the breeding for them. I'm in the middle of breeding Cuckoos for FSQs so good to go there as well.

 

I am going to do this event. Just wish more PF will be given as rewards 30 PF So glad the Mill subscription will be available tomorrow for BB's Mine ran out a few days ago don't like 9 hrs for a PF. I already have some animals breeding and plan on putting more in tonight but I really don't want to use all colored animals so it looks like I will be doing math problems tonight Good luck everyone!!

I'd like to add that getting the bird part is only 1000 cuckoos.
Some of you may still have thousands.

 

my strategy was 44 of each bees and chameleons and 22 crow and 22 goose that's just to start ill see where it goes from there lol I don't know if that's a good strategy or not but it is a strategy non the less lol

 

Nearly the same for me Marlymar, only I went with all Geese instead of Crows.

Very happy to see that the price of Bee's and Chameleons have gone way up on my server. I'll be a happy seller for this event.

 

I just opened my crow breeding lol so I just had to use them

 

Reptiles lvl 1 might just be the thing for this farm.

The Power Feed Deficiency Syndrome has the farm behaving strangely in the marketplace.

Have just done the first on each ....now got to wait for Badges ...which are rosettes

 

I am not able to add pheromones to the existing breeding process. I forgot to add them & other buffs and miscalculated the breeding time. So unable to harvest. I still cannot add pheromones. Its so for the past 45 mins. Any suggestions ? I did all the routine suggestions

Thanks woody. Will keep the suggestion in mind. I still haven't decided what to donate, regular or breeding. But breeding, I will do part by part, may be in 3 parts and devolve strategy based on the progress. Thanks for doing such a lot of hard work to explain it to me.

Some how toucans don't seem to be in this event as far as i can see ...they are not in the breeding house and i have opened them and can't even donate them
Maybe i am missing something ..apart from a brain

.. With the birds...
got the first 3 steps done already. Now I need 30 blue badges
Got one purple badge in addition with one of the breedings

I think, I won't get far, as the PFD-syndrome is on my farm too.... seems, farmer_broke has infested my farm..

But that's ok. I don't worry. Still working on the temple event.

Go to Overview and select a breed you want to add pheromones to. In the corner right under, below the overview window and timer, you'll find a button "add pheromones".

You can add ONE pheromone per click and you have to do so for every breed.

 

On my second farm, I got everything except the last step.
No Reds on that farm for me. I ran out of power feed and I am ok with that.
I have made soooo much CCs selling excess animals and pheromones that I don't even care lol

Woo Hooo!!! Just finished the entire event!!!
Very unusual for me because we usually have to grrrrow crops!!! No crops....and I get to finish early!! Yipeee!! Such a good, un-stressful feeling for a change!!

 

Thanks habalala. That's what I am trying to do. When I click add pheromones, nothing happens. No pheromone is added. I got so angry with the problem that I shut down my computer and went away. That's why I was late in answering your post. Even now the same problem persist. So I am loosing my early marketing benefits and also my 3 hrs harvester coupon has gone waste. So I have to be patience for another half an hour to harvest.

 

15 extra red ribbons - Eek, what a waste of powerfeed. This may have been obvious to others, but do not finish the last step until you have completed all of the other breeding that you intend to do. I received very few extra ribbons, but more importantly, the extras were always in DIFFERENT colors. I finished the chameleons first, but sadly the random generator was indifferent to my need for blue and purple ribbons.

 

I've gone as far as I want with the event. Completed all levels except the last in each category.
It took 380 PF in all. On average I got an extra badge of a different color from every 7th breeding pen.
I think this event is worth doing if you can get the PF. The event itself gives 30 PF and I won 30 more from the party tickets.
Take it slowly to avoid using more PF than you need to.
